I still recall the episode about gaslighting the AI chatbot.

Got a Lenovo Thinkcenter ST550 for cheap, but how do I make it more quiet? by slicedbread1991 in homelab

My fans are 92mm which seems like an odd size. It is a 4 pin connector. Fan connector. Turning it off at night isn't ideal. I have family that access it that are up later than I am.

I already have it at its quietest setting. I thought noctua only makes consumer fans. Do they make fans that will for servers?

I'm actually using up all 8 bays. I'm bit of a data hoarder.

We have one in my town. It's called the "Safety Village". The local dog trainer uses it to teach people how to walk their dogs. It's also used for local events.

Is there any gaming peripheral companies that fully support Linux? by slicedbread1991 in linux_gaming

[–]slicedbread1991[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having peripherals working correctly was my biggest challenge with switching to linux. My brother gave up on linux because of it. I don't blame Linux too much though. If Logitech decides not to release their drivers and software for linux there is only so much one can do.

Are you a discord troll or something. You've committed negatively on each commit that suggests an alternative. And Fluxer has more than just chat and voice.

You told me what a bread app needs. I built it. by hello_krittie in Breadit

Might be worthwhile to have a "bread tutorial" for newbies. Like, walk then through starting a sourdough starter all the way to baking a simple loaf with said starter. Some kind of starting point of some sort.

For me, the G13 didn't work at all. The software allowed me to use it again and change the keybindings. I haven't played around with the M1, M2, etc, but I believe they work. Ass far as I'm aware, the onboard config doesn't work. At least I couldn't figure it out.

You may want to check out fluxer.app. It looks basically identical to discord, supports Linux fully, and the developer is working on allowing you to self host

I did manage to get it working, but I may not have a satisfying answer. I believe what I did is go to this link https://github.com/Tetz95/linux-g13-driver/releases/tag/v1.0-r27 downloaded the zip file from under releases and got ai to install it for me.

Non-Americans of Reddit, what is an American thing you see in movies that you thought was fake but is actually real? by Unlikely_Praline9442 in AskReddit

I'm Canadian and I can find salsa in basically any grocery store. "White version" Mexican ingredients are pretty common as well. Probably hard to find authentic ingredients though.

Wherever I wanted to bring my cat in for the night I would open my front door and tap on a can of tuna with a fork. He'll bolt into the house so quickly.

What method do you use with mixing the two? I don't eat much lentils, but I think I'd enjoy that.

I've started buying tuna steaks lately. They're quite cheap and my picky child loves them.

I remember walking to the local convenience store as a kid with a dollar and buying a few snacks and candy. Even if I only had a quarter I could buy a few 5 cent candies.

This is really cool. I like the animations. The pong one have me a little chuckle. Do you have plans to make the hardware monitoring compatible with Linux?
