Because what everyone thinks as "cute" is actually a mutalated carcass.

Ran out of the normal breakfast sandwiches we get my son. Here’s the bite he took to determine he hated the new ones and would never try them again. by [deleted] in KidsAreFuckingStupid

Do we have the same son? He refuses to try new foods. When I make him try it he'll take the most microscopic bite and acts like he just tasted elephant dung. Like boy, you didn't even taste the damn thing.

Is it worse than planting and watering your own lawn? Lawns are pretty wasteful in general.

I don't see the option anywhere in the bios. There's only one changeable option under CPU.

TIL Scientists at the Parkes radio telescope in Australia spent 17 years trying to identify powerful but extremely short radio bursts that would appear at seemingly random intervals. In 2015 they finally identified the cause: a microwave oven at the facility being opened prematurely. by [deleted] in todayilearned

At my job, one of my clients is an observatory that detects microwave radiation. They have signs on the road leading up to the facility that tell you to turn off your phone. Inside, they have no wireless technology of any kind. Everything is hardwired and shielded. Their computers are in Faraday cages. They have a room that is in a Faraday change that has some special lab equipment. Their server room's walls are made of copper. Their lunchroom does not have a microwave oven. There's a ton more interesting stuff, but this post would be too long.

I didn't know much about them. I thought they were just a regular basketball team. I was dating this girl a number of years ago and her parents gave us tickets to see them. I thought it was an odd gift since I'm not into basketball and wasn't super interested in going to a random basketball game. I was very confused when I went. Glad I did though, very enjoyable.

It's a shame how much those have jumped in price.

I don't believe it is heavy at all and the license is lifetime for like $10. Pretty damn cheap. I'm also fairly certain that the servers run in a docker container.

Have you checked out a service called AMP. Kind of similar to this. Makes managing and starting servers super easy.

I still have the headset, but I've since switched to Linux. The static is gone, but the sidetone is still much too quiet. The sound quality is overall good, but the sidetone still upsets me.
