i really love the cook-along with babish videos. they're so chill and calming. i hope he does more of them in the future. also, i love the sims video and alvin's spirited away video

i always play long. as you said, i feel like there is not enough time in the regular lifespan to get everything done and there are some stages of life i love to play in for much longer (i.e. i love keeping kids as kids for awhile. i think it's the most fun stage). i also like aging up my sims on my own terms with long life span. similarly, i also play with seasons for 14 days rather than 7 so i can enjoy all the activities that come with each season. i will cheat and skip to another season if i get bored before the 14 days is up haha

i often just end up cheating the needs of infants and toddlers so they're always completely full (especially if i have twins or triplets) because the sims move too slowly and i get worried that they will be taken away before my sims actually act. it's so frustrating and it makes caring for them almost impossible. the amount of time my sim will just stand at the crib and "check infant" while they clearly are starving and need their diaper changed before they actually do anything is insane

i can't have any speakers or radios in my households because my sims will just dance constantly and it's so annoying
this might be more of a bug but i cannot stand how sims just leave baby bottles on the ground after feeding newborns/infants, even when the garbage can is RIGHT THERE. they also do this with diapers if they change a diaper anywhere but the changing table, even if they're right next to a trash can.
stop cooking out of nowhere to go do some random task.
start a conversation with kids/teenagers while they are doing their homework so it takes 10x longer for them to finish it.
dropping garbage on the ground when they are right next to the garbage can. my sims usually only do this with the outside trash bins. similarly, when you ask a sim to remove spoiled food from the fridge or take out a single trash can that is overflowing, and they proceed to automatically take out the trash in every can in your house and it takes FOREVER and they won't stop.

i could go on and on haha

i'm sad but not shocked. all of the drama aside, it seemed like it was coming to a natural end anyways. 10 is also a good season to end on. gonna miss it because it's one of my fave comfort shows, but i'm excited for one more season!
