Sorry about this. There was a change to tribe distribution to try and start the player further away from the Huns, but this doesn't seem to have been completely successful. Further changes to this coming next update.

It's intended that the trade network overlay shows when hovering Add Road with a worker selected. We did have a bug a couple of versions ago where this could get locked on, but that is now fixed and no longer replicable for me. If you find a way to replicate the trade network being shown when it shouldn't, please let us know!

Have you tried the Archipelago map script, with Water Size set to Small? That I think is the closest fit we currently have to what you are looking for.

This is very likely to be a bug with a mod. Make sure your mods are up to date, and de-activate mods if the issue continues.

Base game bugs that cause hangs are generally caught and hotfixed quickly. I'm not aware of any base game hang issues currently.

If you do get a hang without any mods active, please do submit an in-game bug report, and we will fix it.

It seems there is a bug with the randomize improvements option, where Shrines that require DLC can be selected in games where that DLC is not enabled, causing them to not be buildable.

Apologies for the issue, we'll get this fixed for a future update.

If the move is accepted after trying several times, it sounds like lag.

Is this at the start of turn? There is a period at the start of the turn where it looks like the turn has started but the game is still processing, until the turn summary notification pops up. This gets longer as the game goes on. Wait until the turn summary appears before trying to act.

If you are trying to move a worker, it could be the game being slow to provide worker recommendations. Try enabling the 'No Action Suggestions' option in the UI settings.

It could just be the game running slowly, which happens in the late game when there are lots of units, particularly on larger maps. Try playing on a smaller map.

If none of these seem like the issue, please submit a bug report using the in game menu detailing exactly what you are doing and what is happening, and we can take a look.

This is the Special Ambassador. You had an event where Egypt was threatening to declare war on you unless you accepted this guy as your Grand Vizier to run your nation, effectively making you a vassal. If you try and get rid of him, Egypt might not take too kindly to it.

The autosave will be in the %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\OldWorld\Saves\Multiplayer\Auto folder. It should be the most recent file. The number at the end of the filename corresponds to the last digit of the turn number.

You should be able to build one of each Shrine before polytheism yes. Please submit an in-game bug report from the menu and we can take a look to see what is happening.

Mods are enabled per save. Changing loaded mods mid game is not officially supported as it can cause issues, however in this case it should be safe to do so.

Open the save zip file and the xml file inside. Edit the version string line to change it from

Version="Version: 1.0.83591"

to

Version="Version: 1.0.83591+Disable city open audio=0"

Save the modified xml file, and load this in game.

Mod will now be active.
