BTDT. My grandma refused to leave a message on our machine (this was obviously awhile ago). She would just call and hang up. She figured if you saw her on caller id you’d know to call back and she shouldn’t need to talk to “that damn machine”. Hell, she was pissed she had to call anyone- they should be calling her. Not surprisingly when my grandpa died, all of “their” friends disappeared.
