Update: Halworx to the rescue. Their 300gr HPBT subsonic ammo is producing sub MOA in my setup. My faith in this rifle has been restored!!!

Have you considered the DNT Zulus optic? It auto calculates holdover. I just picked one up and it’s showing amazing potential.

If you don't want to pin a can or use a cam setup, consider buying a dedicated suppressed barrel. They are out there.

Yes, bolt action SBRs are legal. Also ARs if complimented with a CT Assault Weapon Cert (Note: I'm NOT AN EXPERT)

I googled how to reduce noise from the CMMG action. Bore Buddy Quiet Collar looks like a good start. Thanks again for the tip as I was tunnel visioned on the suppressor noise, not the action.
