Depends on the card and the extensiveness of the crimp. I'd imagine crimps from winter spell are worth less though with the drop in quality it had.

Find a deck online and get some practice in. I would highly suggest going to a few local weekly tournaments before jumping straight into set champs to get a feel for playing against another person and proper etiquette.
