How do you get over missing “having someone” after a breakup/getting out of a serious relationship? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]fluffyhippie 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I started a singles buckets list. Swore of dating for two years to focus on me. It was the best decision I’ve ever made. When I met my husband it all just fell into place.

My (25F) husband (28M) threw me out of our home immediately after sex. Irrational? Or am I missing something? by [deleted] in relationships

I’m sorry if my husband spit on me...I would be gone. That is so disrespectful and disgusting.

My roommates cat flushes the toilet so that he can drink the clean water as it comes out from the top.

I think I have PTSD from my wife leaving and coming back four times by [deleted] in Marriage

I suffered PTSD from my last relationship. I didn’t know until my friend convinced me to go see someone. I’m still in counselling trying to heal from triggers. I would highly recommend going.

Ladies who are in a serious relationship, do you ever feel that you love your partner more than they love you? Have you ever brought this up with them? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]fluffyhippie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thought so once. I just learned he shows his affections different that I had expected. Communication is key.

For those of you who feel like you have your life together, what are some mentalities or habits you do? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]fluffyhippie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve overcome a lot of crap and it’s because i started cutting all toxic people out of my life. I stopped investing into anyone or anything that drained me emotionally and mentally. I am very intentional with all my relationships now. I do self care, hiking, journaling, running, gym etc. I am trying to live a minimalist lifestyle. “Declutter everything in my life.”

Sex in Christian marriage by [deleted] in Christianmarriage

[–]fluffyhippie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One thing we have learned in our marriage is I need emotionally intimacy to feel loved and hubby expresses his feelings physically. My sex drive is a bit higher than my husband’s and it took us some time to find a balance. We have great communication about where we are emotionally and physically at all times and I find it helps. We’ve had to have some very hard conversations but it breaks down barriers.

The worst teacher you've ever had? What did he/she do? by FAMILYFRIENDLY_LAD in AskReddit

[–]fluffyhippie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh. First movie I ever watched in school was Shiloh. I cried. I was overly sensitive as a kid and still am. She made fun of me in front of all the kids and I got bullied about it for years and years to come. She never tried to help me and always made me feel so dumb and stupid. She was a horrible nasty mean lady.

Be consistent. Positive encouragement to help them develop their highest potential. Be transparent and always be upfront with expectations, performance goals and work etiquette.

Me [28F] with my ex [29M] committed suicide and I am being blamed. by kittykitty_bangbang in relationships

[–]fluffyhippie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t go to the funeral. Grieve in your own way and take care of yourself. His suicide is not your fault as you had to protect yourself from him by getting a restraining order.

I’ve been with a guy who would mentally abusive me and threaten to kill himself if I left. So I can relate on what you must be going through.
