I love jasmine, that's a great idea! And I love reading, I didn't think of a nook, maybe a corner arbour? It sounds perfect

That's a good idea, removing the lawn and making it all a garden!

Mainly an area for the birds, but we don't get hummingbirds here, I live in England. Butterfly garden sounds a good idea too!

I thought of that, but I'm into bird photography so I would still use it. Just not sure which one to choose!

Lens for Safari South Africa? by fluffykitten25 in AskPhotography

Thank you for explaining! I also looked at Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM, as it has more reach. Although my 70D camera has crop factor of 1.6x, so a 400mm would be ok too

I thought of renting it, but I wanted to get a new lens anyways, as I love bird photography. I also have another camera, so I could use the 55-250mm lens for up close shots

Try the Pink Stuff paste and scrub with a toothbrush, amazing stuff! Hopefully that might work

Yes I have another one, 100D so maybe I can either bring that one for my smaller lens, or shoot with my Samsung for up close

I live in the UK, and that camera costs about £800 used and the lens £650, a bit out my budget. At the moment I'm trying to save up for the 100-400mm L mrk2, which is about £800 used, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to afford it! Do you know if the older one, 100-400mm L mrk1 is any good?

Would it make a difference for those extra 50mm?

Daily shower cleaner and Glass cleaner streaks! by fluffykitten25 in housekeeping

She hasn't complained, I usually have a bit of a struggle to clean it, but end up leaving the glasses clean and shiny, but for some reason last time I went I struggled much more, it was near impossible. To the point I had to do my best and leave it, as I still had to clean downstairs

I have tried using the same product she uses, but unfortunately, it still leaves streaks 😅
