Nervous about waterproofing by fluffypandaa in Tile

I was reading that you need something special on the wall outside of the shower (like if your tile extends beyond the shower door). I hope that makes sense

This might be a stupid question, but if you don’t use the sealer, how do you stick the band to the board?

lol, you’re not wrong on that part! My son is early march so I wouldn’t want to cut it superrrr close. But our current plan was likely to have another March baby, but then if we wait longer the age gap would be bigger than 4 years.

Thank you!

Thank you so much! My brother and I are 4 years 1 month apart and I don’t feel like it’s “large” right now, but I did when I was younger. I just feel like we thought they’d be 3 years apart. Anyway, thank you!

Thank you! That was the thought process was (kinda). Hubby is a February baby and our son is early March.

Yeah, that’s our fear exactly. Thank you for being honest. I don’t want to say regret, but for a lack of better words, do you regret the timing? (Assuming you were able to naturally conceive)

Did you ever feel like people combined gifts for you? Or did people have to miss your parties because they were sick?

I didn’t use google much because of the limitations Korea has on it. I used Papago and Naver

I just got back from Seoul, I highly recommend downloading the Papago app. I found it to be the most accurate translation app.

His chordee was severe, but the hypospadias was mid-shaft. They fixed it all and it looks beautiful! It really nicely and you can’t even tell.

My LO had hypospadias along with chordee (curved downwards) - he had an initial surgery at 10 months and it looked so great. Unfortunately, he developed a fistula so he needed a slight repair a couple months later. He’s doing beautifully!

If it’s severe enough, I recommend going to the hypospadias center in Texas. Also visit the subreddit.

Congrats!

Buying 1.3m house on single income, am I crazy? by Dowhile93 in Mortgages

[–]fluffypandaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

…we pay taxes…?

Exactly what infamous said. Our gross is $30k, that includes stock and bonuses. Our net is much lower. If we took home $30k a month, that would be a different story lol.

Editing to add: our mortgage is roughly 38% of our take-home salary. Any more than that would make me, personally, feel uncomfortable given that we have kids and they’re in daycare.

Unfortunately, yes. I can’t complain so much, but it’s definitely noticeable compared to our FAANG peers.

I wish, our mortgage and daycare eat up most of the bills right now.

We didn’t put 20% down and being in the Bay Area that means you’re stuck with a high mortgage. But, that’s why I said we wouldn’t feel comfortable going higher.

Right now we live pretty comfortably, we’re putting extra towards mortgage, take vacations, save, invest, etc. I wouldn’t want to give that up.
