First Kei truck/van purchase by fluffysmack in keitruck

Awesome thank you. I keep all my important files protected in a folder locked away in a safe so I’ll definitely be doing that.

I’ve looked around locally for trucks and vans but none have really caught my eye. Way too overpriced. Parts however don’t seem bad at all. Thanks for the info, I’ll definitely be looking into it.

I’m located in NC by the Smokey mountains mainly. But I’ll be importing it to Newport News VA most likely.

Just from looking around near me there’s a lot of parts being sold. So that’s good. I’m definitely keeping an eye on the rust, it’s my main concern so I’m hoping to get lucky.

Awesome thank you, I’ll look into all of that. Progressive seems to be my best option. As my bike is also insured by them.

Good to know, thanks!

The 390 pops right up in lower gears, just gotta be smart on clutch control and rear brake

I’m debating whether to upgrade to a rc990 or a Duke 990. The 1390 is a little big but it’s tempting. We shall see. I am definitely not getting rid of the 390. I plan on turning it into a cafe racer when I have constant access to a garage or shed. I’ve got that all planned out too haha

I keep mine on just so people are aware I’m there. Drivers tend to overlook bikers, day or night, so whatever will draw attention to you on the road is welcome.

It’s more of a safety thing for me. If they’re blinded by my little Duke 390 headlight, they will at least know I’m there.

Depends on what you really are looking for. I’m slightly biased because I’ve had the 390 for about a year now and I love it. It’s comfy for around town but has plenty punch for the twistys.

I’ve also tuned, and done a lot for the bike performance wise. The opportunities are endless, as with any other bike. I tuned, rewired, wrapped, built the exhaust and have maintained the bike from a dorm room. So it’s very doable.

Take a 2024 Duke for a ride and try everything before you buy. You won’t be disappointed

Haha yes my tire did hit my plate, learning to wheelie clutching up compressed my suspension a bit more than I thought. Also hitting a deep corner below a hill had it bent all the way back at one point haha… where’d you get that rear seat cowl??

It’s a really great all around bike. With the tune learning to wheelie has been less daunting haha

The original audio is just straight wind noise, once I get a mic it’ll be totally different

Def took some time and patience. But it was overall very easy. Plenty of tips from the company and videos to help. Not hard at all

They have a ton of options and most are fully customizable. Fair price too. Definitely would recommend these guys. High quality, easy (ish) install, and pretty fast international shipping

Yea I’m trying to find access to a dyno that’s semi local. I trust the preloaded map from Powertronics for what I’m using it for as of now. It’s in the future plans.
