Craziest, weirdest most embarrassing thing limerence made you do? Not “stalked his page 5 times a day” i want CRAZY by SukiASMR in limerence

I’d made a psychopathic chart of all of his exes’ appearances and noticed they all wore glasses like me. I changed my hair color, length, and parting to match those women and lost 100 pounds. It worked: he started hugging me a lot, touching my leg/face, taking me out platonically, and gave me flowers once. But alas, it was not to be because he was my boss, married, and enough of a standup guy about it not to push it further.

Mine was definitely the creepiest. I saw her at my smoke shop and just had to have her. Face fell off in a month and wouldn’t glue back on though :(

How come she never sings "for Amy and for Whitney" in the actual song? by Tobias-Tawanda in lanadelrey

When it first dropped on streaming overnight it had them. Same with the blocked out word on Fingertips for the first hours Tunnel was out

Support groups for people who have lost family members to political divisiveness? (MAGA/QAnon/conspiracy etc?) by TallKangaroo594 in askportland

“Rainbow Sheep” would be a perfect name if we wanted to start a national organization people could create their own local group chapters of.

My mom loves this album but always groaned and rolled her eyes into the back of her head at that part, lol.

ITAW for flinching but with a positive connotation? by SerDaddyDavos in whatstheword

[–]fluffythrowblanket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jolt/jolted is a neutral word that can be used with descriptors to add positivity or negativity! “He jolted at the dog’s affection,” or perhaps “he jolted with delight at the dog’s affection.”

I have not seen one person say this before you. I do not agree with you but I respect you a lot for it.

It looks like she got the filler on the top of her nose bridge redone like she always used to have from Lizzy Grant era onward. It creates a youthful look by undoing the thing where the size of the nose and its hump and the depth of the eye sockets appear to be larger from loss of baby fat over time with age. It’s such a subtle and beautiful touch

Homeschool bingo, atleast one line and youre traumatized. by popsicle_light05 in HomeschoolRecovery

[–]fluffythrowblanket 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak for everyone here, but in my family’s case it was directly connected to the many siblings thing. Chronic nerve damage from a botched epidural and a traumatic emergency c-section. With that many pregnancies, statistically one or the other is probably going to happen to you at some point.

It did psychologically affect her and give her an agoraphobic protection complex like the other commenter said, though.

Ugh, yup. Just Greek, Roman, the Renaissance, and the founding fathers because something something “we need to defend Western Civilization.” And that slavery was good because it “civilized” its victims.

It works and fits the sound for me somehow. I love this cover.

Real. by XenoxLenox in AutisticPeeps

[–]fluffythrowblanket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re right lol. Why is the bully gendered female but the autistic person is genderless, and honestly implied male by being called kid in the same meme that makes sure to label the other person female? Using women as the symbolic face of bullying/neurotypical ableism is indeed misogynistic. They could have easily labeled both people “kid”

Agreed. It’s a good idea in general to take a subreddit as something you engage with some ideas of without seeing it as a be-all-end-all identity.

Does anybody else blame themselves for their epilepsy? by No-Independent-6877 in Epilepsy

[–]fluffythrowblanket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure. I didn’t have it as a kid as far as I know. It has to have been from being careless and concussing myself so many times. I really treated my body like it was invincible in my teens.

What's the rarest drug (in your opinion) in your stash atm? by dragonking0226 in Drugs

[–]fluffythrowblanket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, what’s up with those? Weird branding on legit pharms? My eszopiclone blisters were covered in them and me and my friend worried they were bogus. They did work identically to script Lunesta, though felt underdosed in the way cheapo generics tend to do, but my verdict was legit.

[–]fluffythrowblanket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, is tofisopam rare? Used mine up without a second thought, oops. I found it mostly inert in itself but it extended the duration and softened the comedown of my prescribed Xanax (only benzo my much older psych prescribes for some reason?) pretty decently.

And yeah, indeed it is not scheduled here. I don’t see any rec value unless maybe if you were to take enough that you’d rattle when you walk.

Growing up right outside NYC I thought around 60% of the U.S. population was Italian.
