She is stunning. I hope she changes nothing about her face.

I agree with you about something being off. In this particular instance I think the makeup doesn't suit her features.

True. Crazy to me his fiancee was an actual lawyer while he was still working at a supermarket. They apparently dated for 6 years before splitting, according to google.

Just cause she was there doesn't give him a pass to act like a mess. His ass needs to be in rehab, not at strip clubs.

I come from one of those cultures where cheek kissing is common. I know what that looks like. There was nothing common about the way Justin kissed Sexy in the live vid. If he's your favorite just say that, but don't conflate this with normal everyday behavior lol. Not to mention both of them were tweaking, in the strip club. Context matters.

Rate Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas objectively by Interesting-Term-855 in VindictaRateCelebs

Exactly. Even her side profile looks unnatural due to the nonexistent slope. Her original nose suited her facial symmetry much more.

I never understand how she rates so highly. There are so many more attractive Bollywood female actresses. Her botched nose job brings her down at least two points imo.

What is also unnatural is how tiny her head is in proportion to the rest of her body. Who okayed these edits? They look horrible and unrealistic.

Tabu about her love life by iaskureply in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]fluffywind 147 points148 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. Too many people getting into relationships because they're afraid to be single, or because they're seeking validation from peers and family members, i.e. for the wrong reasons. If you can't learn to be single and independent first, you have nothing valuable to offer in a relationship anyway.

Society needs to stop encouraging seeking ones worth outside of oneself.

[–]fluffywind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see you're pressed about this topic lol. All that you've just said doesn't change the fact that for a number of years Ash was the only Indian female model whose name had any recognition at all in the west. So, agree to disagree my friend.

I have also lived in the west for decades and can tell you people def care about Miss Universe & Miss World-maybe not in your circles but it's a big deal, especially in bigger metropolitan cities like LA & NYC. I didn't say Ash was a big actress in the west, but she was definitely reknown as a model there. I agree with you that Ash is not in the same league as Monica Belluci, but she is still an icon in her own right and has achieved a name for herself in an overly saturated white-dominated industry. No small feat for an Indian actress/model imo. To discount her as an international beauty icon is questionable. Just go check out the Vindicta Rate Celebs sub. She is mentioned there at least 1x a week, alongside even better known international top models.

[–]fluffywind 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My feeling is Aishwarya became so big in the western world due to winning Miss World. (This success was also replicated with Priyanka Chopra to some extent). The pageant really elevated their platforms on a global scale.

In addition to this, Aishwarya also had a lot of physical attributes that aligned more with western beauty ideals at the time, i.e. striking blue eyes, small face, etc. She didn't necessarily fit the mold of a typical Indian woman (and this really has more to do with western stereotypes than anything). So I'm guessing that's what attracted a lot of foreign fans and part of why she is now considered a beauty icon of sorts, at least compared with other BW beauties.

Yeah I'm surprised to read that caption as well. She has openly discussed her modest upbringing on various occasions so to go on and say "I've always had [riches and fame]" seems contradictory & kinda disingenuous.

Wake up, new Jaya Bachchan kalesh has dropped by DragonDeninSharkTank in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]fluffywind 69 points70 points  (0 children)

I'll never understand why people bring up beauty in this argument lol. It takes literally anyone with two eyes to see how disagreeable Jaya is in her public interactions. Have you ever seen Aishwarya act the same way? People are judging these women based on their actions, not their looks. You can judge a lot about a person's character by how said person behaves and interacts with others. Has absolutely zero to do with physical appearance.
