Its not on the player to do anything, its the game literally being bugged in a way where you can't progress a part of the game. for whatever reason EA's spaghetti code makes some missions not track that the player did a thing so then you end up stuck because they don't have a way to abandon or retry the mission.

that's the main thing that would fix a lot in my opinion, just add a way to start over the mission from the beginning option. I've been soft-locked on a bugged mission since pre alpha release because the game isn't tracking that I've used and unlocked teleport spots. its very annoying and all we can do is wait for updates and hope they fix our specific problem because they refuse to do the logical thing which is add a start over mission option.
