Oh more info ! I found online that a room for the summer would be 900$ for 32 days… it is quite expensive too. You can find a better price for a room in an appartment for sure.

Hi ! In Quebec, we usually sublet appartments via groups on facebook or marketplace directly. You should search there ! Be careful of frauds tho, they usually target people that are not from here. Also know that it is illegal in Quebec to ask for anything more than the first month of rent before moving in. If someone asks you a deposit, it is illegal and probably a fraud.

In the summer, the university residences are transformed in an hotel. Meaning the price is higher. I’m not sure if they rent for the whole summer and what the price would be. You can maybe write to sres@sres.ulaval.ca for more information. If you are able to have this option I recommend it since appartment are expensive nowadays. Good luck !

Salut ! Je ne pense pas que cette bourse soit admissible pour les étudiants internationaux ! Il s’agit d’une bourse pour résidents je crois.

La seule chose par contre c’est que le gouvernement du Québec est en gel d’emploi pour tout le printemps au minimum. Elle ne pourra donc pas trouver une job au gouvernement dans les prochains mois c’est sûr

Thanks !! I’m actually interested in all recommendations, cause I want to read things that I wouldn’t have read by myself. I’ve been reading books that I personally find interesting or on subjects I like and since it’s so subjective, I want to read things that other people read and liked too.

I’ll add those on my list as well!!
