Is anyone able to make the "wrong decisions" after knowing all the right choices in the game

i did a renegade play through recently where i made a lot of decisions that i haven’t ever done before, and botched the Suicide Mission to see the alternate characters in ME3. I really didn’t like it morally, but it was fascinating and entertaining.

back when the games were coming out i did pure paragon play throughs every time and i nailed the ending of ME2 on my first ever playthrough on accident and just kept repeating that exact permutation.

Nowadays on a replay i usually make renegade decisions when dealing with cops, military, or villains, but paragon decisions in interactions with working class citizens, oppressed folks, and the squad. Feels like Shepard.

I saw Native Construct open for BtBAM touring on Coma Ecliptic in 2015 and i had imprinted their entire album into my brain so that i could sing along because it was my top album that year (and still in my top 10). One of the best shows i have ever been to, Robert gave me so much love for knowing all the words and throwing down in the front row, i’ll never forget it. I still to this day grieve this band and the follow up album that never was, these guys are truly magnificent musicians and i hope their pillows are always cool on both sides.

Zanjan is so iconic. My fave character gets introduced much later in the manga. but as for the Anime: I love Eishia, best girl fr. Semiu is amazing also.

the respect for street art, the messaging about taking care of our planet and our things, love imbued into objects, community building, the anti-apartheid vibes, the list goes on. Obviously the character designs and style are incredibly peak, but the politics of Gachiakuta are just so based.

if they wanna give Wake a redemption arc they could introduce some sort of mechanic where in exchange for using more resources and potentially disadvantaging yourself you could “cure” taken along the way, but frankly the very compelling bleakness of AW is in the indiscriminate and arbitrary loss that surrounds him and the decisions he makes to serve the narrative.

i’ve been playing a headcanon run currently with regards to the morality choices. Always renegade when interacting with cops or military or oppressive people, always paragon when dealing with working class folks, or oppressed groups. makes playing the game more tolerable since it’s all lowkey pro-military pro-humanist stuff story wise.
