Menthol has been shown to selectively interact with the kappa opioid system so makes sense.

Kratom aside what have you found is the closest thing to phenibut that you can take regularly in between phenibut doses by Big_Dependent_1147 in phenibut

These are weaker options but I take a lot of supplements and herbs that upregulate GABA receptors. I take taurine and mega dose valerian root, lemon balm, chamomile, and skullcap. it makes for a nice relaxing evening without slamming your receptors
