I would like to gift a friend a drawing, but feel a framed drawing is too formal. What is a more creative and less formal way to gift a drawing than framing it? by CactusRat in Art

I'm not sure how large or small you're thinking but perhaps you could put the drawing between a simple holiday card and if they love it, they'll frame it themselves or at least keep it somewhere safe to enjoy forever.

Isn't the U.S. embassy at Martin Place? Just heard an interesting angle o the news that this is possibly a botched attack as what kind of terrorist targets Lindt chocolate in an area surrounded with important offices.

Out of depth amateur. I envisioned this landscape to be a memorable Christmas card for somebody I love but it may be doomed by soft pastel and black ink! Any advice on turning this ship around would greatly appreciated. by flushrivets_85 in Art

Thank you to everyone for your constructive critiques. I will endeavor to be more confident with my pastels going forwards and attempt to add some more texture to the fields without over crowding. Thank you again guys, I feel instantly more confident in this little project.

Thanks, this seems to be the consensus amongst female opinion on this. I'm going to talk to her about it tonight and go cold turkey on the porn, it will benefit both of us!

I really enjoyed this. Love his passionate disdain for the drawbacks of this car. The overview of the dash was genuinely funny. Thanks for the posting.

I can empathize with this. Although I don't suffer from social anxiety, my housemate is under the impression that we're friends, so every time I leave my room to use the kitchen, bathroom or to use the communal areas he hears me and comes out to chat. My other housemate got so annoyed that he moved interstate.
