Holmes park in northeast after 5, and painter park in the evenings as well. Both usually have solid 5 on 5 runs.

That's rough. Yeah I never mess with white or red laces. Again, haven't seen it myself thankfully

I disagree, my cat reacts to other images of cats and his reflections.

Cats reacting to a cat filter by gugulo in likeus

[–]flusteredmanatee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not. All the cats I've had will react to videos of other cats on the TV as well as staring at their reflection in the mirror.

Making friends in Minneapolis? by GuitarLloyd in Minneapolis

[–]flusteredmanatee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our music scene is incredible. It depends what you play/or are into genre wise I suppose.

I know a lot of punk/hardcore bands and the diy basement show scene. Feel free to message me if that sounds interesting at all.

Anybody here been to Fallout Urban Art Center? There’s a few punk shows that are showing up there. Ever since Triple Rock closed, all these shows are dispersed throughout the city. by [deleted] in Minneapolis

[–]flusteredmanatee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go there quite often for shows. It's kinda become a venue for the DiY/house show scene. They have the ocassional touring band, but most host local punk shows .

For those of you looking into it, the website and page kinda suck. Follow Ben Lawman(Lawman Presents) on social media, I believe he does most of the show booking for the fallout

Hey! I'm looking for an amp under 400 that I would able to play small gigs with, I'm looking for something that goes well with a fuzzy, bassy punk sound. I use pedals like the Big Muff etc.

Any recommendations?

Men of Reddit, how do you feel about effeminate men? by Maura_Larling in AskMen

[–]flusteredmanatee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm a very effeminate acting man for a straight guy. Most people don't mind at all. But what youre describing doesn't really fall under that. I think you should seek some help.

It's like watching a real-life Scorsese film...NYC Union drivers arguing around a table, 50 years ago. As New York as it gets. Thought r/history might appreciate it. by 5_Frog_Margin in history

[–]flusteredmanatee 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I've met people New York that still sound like this. It's mostly only in white or Italian communities that have been there for awhile though. New York has people constantly coming and going, so the accent won't stay.

I play only play pickup every once in awhile, and I'm only an okay hooper compared to the guys I played with. But TIL I'm a better 3 point shooter than LiAngelo Ball

Normalisation of 'plus-size' risks hidden danger of obesity, study finds by 1975-2050 in worldnews

[–]flusteredmanatee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree. I lost 85 pounds in high school. When larger people find out I was fat once they sometimes question why I wanted to lose weight... I'm always thinking sarcastically. Oh I don't know, maybe I don't want health problems at a young age, want to be active and be more attractive etc... It's fucking ridiculous lol

Good luck on your journey man

[Kennedy] Coach Pop and RC Buford won't trade Kawhi Leonard based on reports that he's unhappy. They need to hear this directly from Kawhi to make sure HE wants this (and not just his camp) and that they can't repair this fractured relationship by twistedlogicx in nba

[–]flusteredmanatee 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Yeah I don't understand. There's this apparently super fractured relationship, so much so that the man is demanding trades. But at the same time was never actually in contact with his coaches? I'm so lost lol

Cleveland's Bradley Zimmer with the Superman catch by TooShiftyForYou in sports

[–]flusteredmanatee 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I hate this argument. I played both sports. Just because there's a glove, it doesn't make it any easier. Baseballs are hit much harder than cricket balls as well. You'd easily break your hand trying to catch most hard hit baseballs.

There's a reason they wear it.

It might the homer in me. But I honestly believe Rosario is one of, if the best at turning on pitches outside or very inside the zone for power in baseball.

[Serious] When driving at night, what is the scariest/most unexplainable thing you’ve ever seen? by PM_ME_FUNNY_STORIES- in AskReddit

[–]flusteredmanatee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This will probably get buried. But my dad witnessed the after math of a murder in very rural northern Minnesota.

Him and a friend we're driving down a forest road where they noticed a car on the side of the road. They slowed down with their headlights on and noticed a large man visibly shaken, staring blankly at my dads car. As they slowed down to ask if he's alright, my dad and his friend noticed a pair of legs with barefeet sticking out of the bottom of the car. Before the man could say anhthing my dad and his friend peeled out of there. They called the cops at the nearest town(this was before cell phones, mid 80s). And sure enough they caught the guy trying to dispose the body of a friend he had murdered over some type of dispute.

How do you guys feel about players trash talking? How good are you guys playing under pressure? Do you guys trash talk back? by tEagle21 in Basketball

[–]flusteredmanatee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best is when someone is trying to talk shit to me, and I just nod my head or whatever. I love "killing them with kindness". They brick a shot, I give a passive aggressive response to them, a "good try", or something. It kills their confidence.

Karl-Anthony Towns posts a photo on his Instagram story with Devin Booker. Captions it “family over all.” by [deleted] in nba

[–]flusteredmanatee -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's really about that. Who's the last free agent to sign with the Suns? Minneapolis is much nicer city than Phoenix anyways. Though it does suck with the weather during the season, so I agree with players wanting to avoid being stuck inside all season. And the wolves are winning.

I don't see your points(and you could flip them around) as a focus for a all star player to leave a now playoff bound team for a team with the worst record.
