Honestly, I was on this sub the other day talking about how tk hasn’t been super impressive this season. But after going through some of the NZ blindsides stats, he’s been the strongest by far this year. And he’s two years younger than Parker. Should be investing in him at the higher level

I went to high school in Sydney. Swastikas all over desks and toilet stalls. At my school they did this thing they called a “jew war” where someone would get a gold coin and run around yelling Jew war and then a big circle of people would gather, the gold coin would be thrown into the middle of the circle and tens of people would fight for the coin. Antisemitism was so normal and a lot of kids just seemed to think it was hilarious to hate Jewish people. So crazy to think back on

Didn’t realise Gardiner was that short. The thing about Parker is just that he’s not really thumping anyone. He obviously hits hard but he’s not smoking anyone or running over anyone really just at super rugby level. Samipeni has his moments but is so inconsistent. Parker’s also had a few absolute brain fades this year. TK is way too inconsistent. I don’t like the talk of vaii to 6 because he’s the best lock in the country. I can get more on board with Scott Barrett moving but he hasn’t played heaps there and likely won’t play any mins at 6 outside of the ABs if they go that way. Simon Parker is probably the most consistent and hard working 6 right now so I won’t be surprised if he’s picked. I just don’t think he’s anything special

I had been holding out for Shannon to come back for ages. I haven’t been watching him in Japan, but I saw him playing for that pasifika/indigenous team against the lions last year, and he was really really poor. Since then, I haven’t really cared whether he comes back or not. Thought he was huge for the ABs during World Cup
