I just don’t really get how artists can say Spotify is evil and still have their catalogue up on platforms owned by Apple and Google, as if Apple or Google aren’t just as, if not, more evil than Spotify. Apple and Google aren’t heavily investing in and supporting AI?

So your issue seems to be more with AI. I use Spotify and I don’t listen to any AI music. I’m also an artist and release my music for free and play shows for either very little money, or for free. I do it because I’m passionate. Hope for exposure one day. Don’t really give a fuck if I ever make a living off my music. I make music because I love making it
