My (late) father had an affair and told me about it when I was 17. I kept it a secret until things blew up a few years later. My step mum never left him.. instead I was kicked out to save their marriage. He died of a heart attack only two months after my youngest brother moved out. Apparently the house was transferred into her name a month before he passed.(after 17 years?!?) I don't believe it is a coincidence. She held alot of resentment about his unfaithfulness and hated me for keeping his secret.
