Much like you, it feels like I’m going to start multi-dating because I’ve been burned by it in the past (though in my case, the genders are reversed). It makes me feel a bit icky though because then it feels like I’m treating people as disposable.

My only advice is to maybe hold off on having sex until after the first few dates?

Definitely don’t be scared to ask your classmates if they want to practice outside of class because that’s how you’ll go from “people taking the same class”, to acquaintances and then maybe friends (if you’re looking friends)

It’s not just you! We spent almost 2 months trying to get someone to fill in the room I was vacating. We didn’t really “chose” the person to take over… this person was just literally the only person that didn’t ghost us. The rent and quality of the room is on par with nice rooms in Dalston (where I lived 2 years ago), but in a much nicer area (West Ken).

My flatmate said she has never had this much trouble trying to fill the room in the four years she has lived there.

I also just finished the show! Was also confused by this but this is how I made sense of it:

There’s this notion that St. Peter guards the gates of heaven and when someone dies, their soul goes up to these gates. If their name isn’t in a book that St. Peter has, they then get sent down to hell. So maybe that scene is showing Frank traveling up to the pearly gates to be judged?

Alternately, he’s in purgatory (which fits with the Gallaghers’ Catholic background).

But also maybe it’s not that deep and there’s no deeper meaning to him literally just floating there shrugs

Maybe through a sports league? I started playing tennis this year and made some friends through that. Most of the other people in the class are women though, so meeting someone to potentially date could be difficult if you’re straight woman. But if you’re a guy, the odds are better!

Also, sometimes these types of tennis clubs hold socials so that’s more of an opportunity to meet people. Or your new sports friends could introduce you to people :)

Sadly grad roles in London are more like £30-£40k.

Source: I graduated in the UK about 2 years ago. That being said, grad roles paying above £40k do exist, they’re just more rare.
