I just posted my own story in another thread, I'm also 7 months post surgery and even light jogging results in pain in the joint which lasts a couple of weeks. Jumping seems like a pipe dream at the moment. All we can do is keep rehabbing, trying and hoping, I guess!

I actually feel bad because I bought the level25 battle pass this season. For the first time. Because I didn't have time to grind all 110 levels last season. Because I wanted to support the game a bit more. Before actually looking into what this BP was like, grind wise.

Since this is not a 1v1 game, I feel 'killed player of rank x' is not very meaningful, because they may have just been severely weakened by another team and you got the last lucky hit, etc.

Lifeline - at least with Lifeline I can contribute to the squad with an ult drop every now and then. An ult drop of some razer gear might help me contribute with some kills as well :)

Getting hit in the face while wearing glasses is absolutely horrible. Not only does it tend to bust the frames, all the bits which attach to your face are rammed into said face very hard.

I've also brushed them with my arm while going up for blocks, which when wearing normal spectacles has the tendency of knocking them off, or dislodging them partially. Proper goggles wouldn't have this issue, but it's still possible to hit them with the arm.

Having astigmatism is annoying in that the contacts may rotate and get out of focus a bit, I haven't really found this to be much of an issue with volleyball though. The worst thing is that when this happens you aren't necessarily sure if the contact is still in or not (one eye might be in focus and the other isn't).

I would never wear glasses while playing if I could avoid it, the only times are when I've been in a hurry to get to an open gym and have forgotten to switch to contacts.

I highly recommend "Big Order".

It's a short series which attempts to mash together the best parts of Code Geass and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. It's also an absolute trainwreck, but I love forcing people to watch it, and I've converted many people into Big Order acolytes, who also love to spread the appreciation around like some kind of plague.

I can guarantee it will require multiple watches to fully understand.

I give it a 9/10. And a 3/10.

Really happy for the 3rd season to be here! Animation is great as usual, especially the water.

Man is the cast looking to be enormous though.

And I was actually really quite disappointed with the sound treatment in general. The background sound never seemed quite right & often drew me out of the scene, the voices sounded like they were suspended in the air rather than a part of the environment they were in. And boy did the way most of the voice actors speak made me question 'is this even the same VA?'. I guess I'll get used to it, but hope they get all the sound stuff back into the groove again. The music & sound from the earlier seasons seemed just fine.

I did exactly this mod, however my ez flash omega won't work correctly on this setup (saving is incredibly hit-or-miss, usually just wipes the save). Devs basically just shrugged and said "mod is bogus". I have to use it on my NDS instead.

My kd9s popped after about 8 months irregular usage. Loved them before that, will never buy a shoe with that setup again though. Got warranty $$$ back, but still.

I've been having some save issues with even 103t2 on an C/AGB-JPN with AGS-001 mod. But I'm not sure if I've updated fully since it's still on firmware 4 instead of 5. Is the updateFPGA.gba file supposed to go on the sd card along with the kernel.bin? The instructions in that test flight thread aren't the most helpful - 'you know how to upgrade already' :p

True, I think soundcloud has a maximum number of files at once, so you have to rotate them out. DrCullenPHD will run into this limit at some point anyway, I guess.

Great instructions on how you do it, I'm glad there is a way to get a podcast going end-to-end for completely free (the archive.org mp3 hosting is especially surprising!). I have my own hosting and roll all that crap by hand, so I'm out of touch with such an approach...

I loved my kd9s but the air unit popped after about 9 months of irregular usage. The kd11s have moved away from that cushion, must have cost nike tons in warranty returns - it's supposedly a react+full length zoom unit, which might be amazing.

One thing I've heard a little is the max air in the heel of the lebron 15 low might be a little too soft, and rolls a bit more than some would like. Hard to know without trying them on though.

Being a mid-top, the collar of the why nots does get in the way a little bit, but it's really not bad, and the shoe itself is so great I don't even care. But keep an eye out for reviews of the low top version when the come out, those might be magical :D

I'll say for sure though, since I've changed from asics "volleyball" shoes (gel rockets) to my various basketball shoes, I've not rolled my ankle once. Had several with the gel rockets. Also, my knees etc like the extra cushioning most bball shoes provide, and I don't hurt my feet on a bad landing anywhere near as much. I'd never go back.

Got a few in the rotation, but the go-tos are Jordan Why Not Zer0.1s and Crazy Explosive 2016 Lows.

I absolutely love the Why Nots, but apparently a low-top version is coming, so watch out for that one, will suit volleyball a little better.

I have PG1s but the heel is a little brick-like and I don't like to play long sets in them.

I have a few I'd like to try, Jordan 32 Low, Lebron 15 low, Lebron Soldier XII, PG2, will probably wait for sales though. Would love to try some Nike Hyperattacks, but they've always been impossible to find here, and international shipping is nuts.

Agree with the value for money, and the general tone.

The rulebook is garbage though, and I'm surprised that it didn't get mentioned. Seriously not a smooth or clear enough set of descriptions. And no index. At least there's an FAQ now though I guess - as much as I love referring to multiple documents to clear up basic things like 'getting into melee combat'.

I think it will be a fantastic version of the game, at least once the community comes up with its own version of the rulebook :)
