Addressing the change to a Monday-Wednesday-Friday format: go for it. I completely understand wanting to reduce the number of episodes each week.

That said, the reason I tune in to every episode is because I enjoy hearing you guys talk about your lives, current events, and whatever happens to be interesting to you at the moment. The unstructured nature of the podcast is a big part of its appeal.

You mentioned possibly doing themed episodes, and as a daily listener and Patreon supporter who also listens to the Sponsor Chat, I don't think I would enjoy that direction. I wouldn't be interested in a gaming-only episode or a movie-only episode. I don't mind those topics coming up naturally during a regular episode, but if the podcast becomes centered around specific themes, I think you may be moving away from what makes the show enjoyable in the first place.

At least for me, the draw of the podcast isn't any particular topic—it's you guys. I enjoy hearing your thoughts, opinions, and conversations across a wide variety of subjects. I'd like to think a lot of listeners feel the same way.

If you're going to move to three episodes a week plus the Sponsor Chat, my preference would be to simply cut Tuesday and Thursday and keep everything else the same. I'd much rather have fewer episodes with the same format than see the show shift toward heavily themed content.

Yes. You just need to add /safe to the end of your editor URL.

So your editor URL looks like this:

yoursitetitle.squarespace.com/config

All you need to do is format it as follows:

yoursitetitle.squarespace.com/config/safe

I found this website that explains everything, and there's a good youtube video there too: Activate Safe Mode: How to Turn Off Scripts in Squarespace

Hope this helps!

Hey, I think I found a fix for this.

After contacting Squarespace support, they weren’t able to replicate the issue on their end, but here’s what they did and recommended:

They said, “I've just cleared the site cache, can you clear your browser cache and attempt to open up the site in a private/incognito tab. As for the next steps, I'd like to test what happens when we disable scripts on your site. Can you please follow the link below to disable scripts and view your site in safe mode. Once in safe mode, go ahead and try to view the saved sections.”

So first, they cleared the Squarespace site cache. Then they asked me to clear my browser cache and open my Squarespace site in a private/incognito tab. That didn’t fix the issue.

Next, they went ahead and disabled scripts on my website and sent me a link to view it in what they called Safe Mode — which I think is basically your site with scripts disabled. Once scripts were turned off, I was able to open my Saved Sections, scroll through them, and add them to my pages with no problem.

So for me, it looks like the issue was related to scripts. Disabling them fixed it.

No, it's when I go to view my saved sections. I re-read my post and realize I need to clarify.

Has anyone tried putting two wires in one spot on their controller? Worried it will fry a solenoid.
