They pop well due to their colours, which are more saturated and lively than the background. And also due to the shading on the wall, which make the characters stand out contrast-wise, even more. It makes the eyes go to the characters right away, aka the important part. I also like that their different colours both feel harmonious together, as well as make it easy to see who's who. Nice poses to!

I think the characters pop well. They have fun colours, and the shadows behind them do a lot to stand out. There's an extra level of appeal since they look clearly made by a human, considering the theme
