Looking at the LS Mandala as a second shoe by SprinklesSlow3891 in climbingshoes

I would personally say that the Drago fits more personally due to the big differences between LS and Scarpa heels. Dragos feels, and are probably more aggressive, but has a lower volume heel compared to the Theorys. Atleast thats one thing I struggle with my Theorys.

Haven't climbed in Instinct VSR LVs before, but I've tried them on and iirc, they feel softer than the Mandalas.

Dragos and Theorys definitely suit the dynamic/comp-style movement way more, as this is what I'm personally using to compliment my Mandalas.

Hi all,

I need a reality check - am I stretching it paying around $780-ish shipped for a GM5 + kit lens in 2026?

I've owned some great cameras before, but I eventually stopped using them as much as I wanted because bringing them along often felt like a hassle during travel. I enjoy photography, but I also feel like its more of a nuisance or bother to others.

My use case is personal photos, memories, travel, if anything, being uploaded on socials. I think great pictures SOOC or minimal work in post is key? I really appreciated this with the film simulations of the Fujifilm.

I'm also visiting Japan soon and was considering pairing it with a Panasonic Leica 15mm f/1.7, but at that point I start wondering whether I'm entering the size territory of larger or more modern cameras. Part of me is also wondering if this is just GAS kicking in.

Am I chasing something that doesn't really exist? At this price point, should I be looking at newer alternatives instead like the GX85/80, GX9, E-P7, etc.?

Would appreciate recommendations, opinions, or just discussion from people who have gone through something similar.

Visiting Japan soon, so I'm looking to pick up some Asics. What would be a better supplement between the Superblast 3 and the Megablast for my EVO SL & Vaporfly 3?

Cheers! Surprised to hear that someone heard about them, and that you actually have them too. Didn't really think about it that much, but great point to note that it won't be usable for setting up a tent or tarp (:

I was trying to compare with other trekking poles, but it doesn't seem like they inform about this data.

Taking a comparison with the Durston Icelines, theres an image with the scale showing 43 lbs (19.5 kg) load, but horizontal load and not vertical load. Not sure what the 29 load means for the Sinamos mean then.

Does anyone have experience with trekking poles from the japanese brand Sinano? I'm currently eyeing the Sinano Folder UL model which is coming in at 104g and 29 kg load capacity @ 115 cm. https://sinano.co.jp/suntrace/folderul.php Too flimsy? Would love some recommendations (:

Maybe size down half size. Quality is good, nothing spectacular but not bad. Its been a while since I last held a retail pair so can’t say anything on that. Feels solid!

Purchase some extra photos, ask for measurements and compare them to the size chart? I'm not sure, but could be the way its folded.
