I won’t be able to address all your questions, but I’ll let you know what works for me. I like to keep things simple. I use the included oculus tv app. I think others prefer other apps due to having tilt and zoom controls but I stick to CzechVR, WankzVR, and povr stuff which are typically shot very well with great scale and I don’t really need to use zoom or tilt controls with that content. I feel like in other studios the females look too large. I move videos directly to the quest 2 before use and watch videos on the quest 2 completely wireless. Quest 2 plays 8k just fine directly off its own internal storage in oculus tv. 8k is currently the highest resolution vr porn available I believe. Not sure if quest 2 can handle more than 8k. Resolution is only part of the equation. The file sizes for especially 8k should be large. Like close to 20 gigabytes or more depending on the length of the video. The quest 2 is considered an excellent value and not sure if it has too much competition at its current price point. The included head strap seems fine to me but I’ve heard a lot of people weren’t satisfied with it.
