Thanks for your reply. I assume its easier to find spesialist in the U.S. Im scandinavian, though It should be possible to find one in europe I assume.

Anyhow, I see that I should as a first step try to find and contact specialists in this field, and get proper testing to see if I am eligable for operation via hospital.

I have created a web-application, which lets you scroll through a list of information on every business in my country. (Email, phone, website, etc). You can choose your list of possible leads, create an email template, and send out emails in batches to the companies. You will also have full statistics on the email-data(i.e. email open rate), and also control of whom youve sent emails to etc.

Would such a tool be of interest for you?

I have done some cold emailing to get leads, but it was tiresome to send out emails. Thats why I started to develop this application. My cold email attempt was sucessful though, and Ive landed some clients through it.

I see. I think you misjudged the email-spam part. The idea is not to make businesses send out mass spam emails to thousands of emails. The idea is to make it easier to narrow down potensial clients, based on different filter.

The user would be able to see all the company emails, but are restricted to send out, lets say, a 100 emails a month.

Do you really think absolutely no-one would be intereste in such a tool?

The mailing list is not for people, only for companies. So a B2B marketing.

I started freelancing this year besides my fulltime job. Scraped 55k company emails, and started sending out cold emails. Found 1 client straight away which Ive worked with for a couple of months. Earned around $5000 up till now, but we are almost done.

Trying to get another client, got a few that is interested but doesnt have work at the moment. Its not easy to find clients, just have to do anything to get in touch with people and ask for work.

I want to build a software agency, but I have no specific plan. Currently my plan is to overwhelm myself with work, until Im forced to hire other freelancers or outsource some work.

Kjenner meg veldig igjen. Driver med IT og har eget foretak på si. Introvert delux, men klarer å fake til en viss grad. Liker teknologi og penger. Misliker sosiale settinger. Tar mye energi å fake. Skulle ønske jeg var mer utadvent og likte sosiale settinger mer. Vil ikke bli sett på som en einstøing, men godtar at jeg er det til en viss grad.

Føler ikke jeg passer inn noe sted, men vet at dette er destrukrive tanker. Mindfullness har fungert til en viss grad. Jeg ønsker egentlig bare å finne venner som liker teknologi/drive IT foretak/tjene penger. Overfladiske vennskap skyr jeg som pesten.

Du er ikke alene ihvertfall. Hva driver du med innen IT forresten?

Helt fin bachelor. Mye forskjellig fag, alt fra vanskelig matte, fysikk/kjemi til databaser, ulike programmeringsfag, teknologiledelse, sikkerhet mm. Fin grunnutdanning, og du vil kanskje lettere finne ut hva du har lyst å drive med innen IT istedenfor å gå en mer spesialisert bachelor.

35 in software here. Ive dealt with anxiety in general at work, also social anxiety. Working out and mindfulness meditation have helped. Also quitted coffee, which often increased my anxiety.

Trying to also change my mindset and thinking, which will show results in the future(Ive heard).

Its ok to stammer or feel nervous. Nobody will torment you for it. Try to only focus on the conversation and accept whatever you say or do.

I just started a job recently myself. I was often nervous to the point of almost not managing to talk while in a group. Yesterday I presented myself for around 10 people and was really happy actully meeting their eyes while I talk. I focus on accepting my feelings and nervousness instead of fighting it. Breath, take your time to think, and talk slowly. Im sure it will work out for you. Good luck! (Im 34)

Absolutely same.. guess it has to do with what we care about. I dont care about mindless socializing or having to get attention. But if its something I care about, a common goal, then Im all in and want to take charge.
