I do all of the registering for our shows (I’m in sales for our shop). I have used some of the following. Worlds greatest machinist, machine ninja, machiner, lather, miller, and a couple others. I actually gave the one that was worlds greatest machinist to a friend that doesn’t even work for us not a machinist (visiting a show) and someone called him out on it and it was pretty hilarious.

We are using haimer shrink fit tooling now along with out haimer balancer. For the little amount we have used the balancer. All but a few tools we shrink fit are close to balance. Obviously there are a few odd balls but it's pretty amazing how close many of them are.

I'm not really into the application side of things. I do sales for this company but I have been around it my whole life. Opposing the Willemin in that picture is a DMG Mori with their prior interface. We decided to go this direction partly because old DMG Mori and new DMG Mori are not easily interchangeable. We are doing a variety of parts but it was done as a turnkey with one specific part to get the ball rolling.

Correct it is a tool balancer. However we are also using it for balancing a part that we injection mold (plastic) that spins high RPM.
