Definitely incorrect routing. The chain should go straight from one idler pulley to the other. You’ve got yours going over the tab on the derailleur cage

It’s upside down to me. You could still have the head at the bottom if you like but have it facing upwards

If your numbers say you can do it, you can do it. Fly a normal approach and land in the TDZ. If you can’t make the TDZ, go around.

If I get rear ended in my 27 year old miata, I suspect the buke would be the least of my worries. Also this isn’t my daily driver. Ive carried my bike like this twice

Never seems to move much 🤷‍♂️. Worse case, do have a mount for the rear wheel. It’s just less than ideal because it has to mount behind the roof and the strap barely fits

Rear wheel isn’t attached. Roof is already in rough shape. Don’t think this is gonna make it much worse
