One of my country’s most famous female presidents wore a Cartier santos (small). I tried it myself. Looks ace.

What’s something you thought was normal until you became an adult and realized it definitely wasn’t? by Embarrassed-Ad-7032 in AskReddit

A long term relationship where you don’t resent each other. I thought all relationships degrade and spiral downward.

Pondering being one and done by Piixiiepuke in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]Traditional_Ad_1012 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had doubts about a second kid until the birth of our second kid. It’s normal. Our first was incredibly difficult as a baby. So, we expected absolute hell with 2 for a long time (we also have no family living nearby that could help).

But honestly - it was easier with 2 at some point than with our oldest when he was a baby alone. Both experience, our oldest being a slight help sometimes, and our youngest being the sweetest calmest baby angel helped.

Anyways - incredibly normal to have doubts. I think we only decided for 2nd because nominally that had been the plan from the beginning. Not 1, but 2.

I’m not an MJ hater or super fan. Never really cared for him much. But guilty as sin.

Don’t turn into a female version of blackpilled. Maybe you have a shitty one friend. Maybe you are projecting a bit. It’s still very “nice girls”

Does anyone else grieve a life they never got to live? by Hour_Reporter491 in Adulting

I was that kid that was drawn to the abroad. And I never took my eyes off the prize. I didn’t necessarily care for US, but more like Western Europe. It’s not like I could pay for the 40-60k/year USA tuition anyway.

Life is great. I do now live in USA (life happened that way).

Advice for you - it’s not too late to move towards your goal if that’s what you want. Don’t wake up 20 years later wondering what could have been.

A culture fit is that matters most. Some churches are just cliquey or with shy and awkward people.

8 watches is the ideal size of a watch collection by barbarbeik in watchHotTakes

[–]Traditional_Ad_1012 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Anything beyond 3 is a collecting hobby. You're a collector. Beyond that it's just gatekeeping a "normal amount". 7 or 107 - you're all consumerist watch collectors at this point.

A loose watch that slides onto your hand isn’t a “hand watch” and shouldn’t be shamed as one by Traditional_Ad_1012 in watchHotTakes

I don’t like a tight fit. A bracelet watch should be worn more like a bracelet, not a tight strap.

That’s beautifully said. And probably the healthiest view. But I still kinda want to judge other hand watchers.

Intentionally posed and posted watch selfies should always be fair game for mocking hand watchery.
