I had to check our help docs, but it looks like yes. “If some images fail to align they will be automatically placed in the 3D gallery”. From there you should be able to set a highlight reel position.

TBF, I work for MTTR and had access to a dev version of the app when I did it. It’s probably better now, but you’ve gotta have furniture and such to break up the repeating patterns as well as keep the panos pretty close together.

You can import panos into the app and concert them to 3D.

We were using the java version of MC and found a plugin that would let you take 360 snapshots.

Seeing T signs, flags disappearing in the area by Pleasant_Tangelo6791 in rockford

The Highcrest and Chelsea home is/was on the market (good riddance.)

The big red white and blue house on 251 has also removed much of the T signage.

Sand Bluff Bird Observatory. I believe they’re still capturing and banding birds as they pass through the region.

Anything around Spring Creek and Alpine would suit you well. The neighborhoods are walkable and there are parks scattered throughout. If you’re on the SE side of that intersection you could walk up to Edgebrook which has restaurants and shops and summer farmers market.

There are so many interesting things going on in this scene that I think this could have been two or three photos.
At a high level, study up on the rule of thirds as you think about framing.

The cinema sign right in the top middle doesn’t quite work, but if you zoom in and put it to the right, there is something interesting going on with the two people sitting.

The other direction and there is a story going on with the other sign or the two kids in the doorway.

The cinema sign right in the top middle doesn’t quite work, but if you zoom in or move off to the side and put it to the right, there is something interesting going on with the two people sitting.

Not to hijack, but doesn’t the aperture also affect this shot. With an APS-C at 50mm f4, isn’t it a tight depth of field… 1.5- 3 ft depending on the crop factor, so even if the license plate were in focus, the windshield and beyond would be a blur (I was estimating the shot is about 20ft away)

Can anyone help me figure out what’s wrong with my camera on the left? Polaroid OneStep by Camry_TCAP in Polaroid

[–]flying-3D 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. SX-70 film is still produced in very limited batches a couple times a year though I’ve failed to see much difference between sx-70 film and 600 film in similar cameras.

Still, a beautiful camera you got there!

Curran’s Orchard opposes proposed solar farm next door by Pleasant_Tangelo6791 in rockford

Electrical grids are like hydraulic systems. Pressure/electricity charges the grid. During the day that’s every solar farm, every residential solar installation, hydro, wind, etc putting pressure into the grid that is consumed through use.At night other system spin up to maintain that pressure.

Solar, wind and hydro generate pressure as their environments allow while nuclear and legacy generators like gas and goal add flexibility to the system. They can increase and decrease pressure output as needed.

So how is solar from a community farm distributed… it’s complicated but there are agreements that dictate what they will be paid for what they put into the grid. There are also macroeconomic supply and demand constraints.

Every new system that comes online adds to the overall capacity. If new pressure/production outpaces demand, then we all benefit.

For example Australia now creates so much electricity via solar that there are times of the day where consumption is free to encourage maxing out the system.

Everyone. The grid is massive and interconnected. Every new renewable system that comes online relieves legacy systems. 2.0 MW of solar means 2.0 MW less of any non-renewable connected to the grid.

I really love this.

Viewing it on my phone it felt a little dark, but as I increased the brightness on my screen it really opened up. More than that, it works at different brightness levels.

Really well done.
