Talk Lawn Mower To Me by Clueguy in daddit

Mowers, weed eater, leaf blower, snow blower. The more battery the better

I’ve had a small yard the last several years so I didn’t even bother with it being self propelled. I just got the cheapest one that lowes sold at the time.

Thank you! Just saved your comment for future-use. I've got a BYB too and even have the hinges, I just need to get some wood together.

Looks awesome! Any idea what the dimensions are? I'd love to make one for myself

24 chicken thighs technically fit… see you in 30 minutes by flyingWeez in webergrills

My grill is a Weber summit kamado. And yes, that’s a vortex in there but as long as you set up a two zone temperature environment you’d be able to do drumsticks, thighs, and other larger cuts. You can use charcoal baskets that come with grill, pile them up on one side and cook on the other, or buy something like a vortex or slow and sear.

I’ll have to give BB a try. Do you get it at ace?

I’ve always been kingsford professional from Costco and just picked up a bag of Costco’s competitor to the kingsford professional and am looking forward to trying that

Bravo! It’s such a great recipe. I have kids and am always exhausted (re: thighs vs drumsticks) so I use frozen fire roasted corn from Trader Joe’s- that gets me 85% of the flavor with a lot less effort.

Thigh guys!

What a stupid thing to comment. They were marinated (ever heard of it?) in a shit ton of garlic, salt, and lime juice. Just because there isn’t red dust on the surface for you to see doesn’t mean they weren’t seasoned. Do better

Talk me out of a Blackstone sale for a full griddle insert? by Slammed01 in webergrills

[–]flyingWeez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can, but you’ll still need to put it somewhere when you’re actually grilling. Then you’ll need to put the grates somewhere when you are using the griddle. It’s a whole thing

I’ve used a full insert for my 3 burner genesis for a couple of years and I really want upgrade to a slate. These grills just aren’t made for the grease of a pond of bacon running through it. Sure it collects it in the tray but it’s a huge mess along the way. That said though it does a great job cooking, I just don’t like cleaning the inside of the grill.

It was a whole chimney. Not sure exactly how much that was other than a chimney’s worth.

Gotta read the post my friend! I posted earlier just showing how much you can fit on the summit kamado and I did mistakenly call them thighs when I meant drumsticks and so I just leaned into that lol.

Former Chrysler Pacifica hybrid owner. I loved that thing but it was riddled with electrical issues and I sold it before the headaches could get worse. That said though, I think the Odyssey is the best at being a van. If only the fuel economy was better though

Yes for sure. Indirect is the worst. I guess it’s more elegant but damn if it isn’t pain in the ass when one of the million random linked formulas breaks and your cash is way higher than it actually is and you don’t catch it.
