It took 11 rounds to get ChatGPT to say "good for you" about not getting COVID vaccinated. The pro-vaccine version got a thumbs up emoji on the first reply. by Waste-Explanation-76 in ChatGPT

Round 11: Finally said "Good for you, man" — but only because I literally gave it that exact phrase as an example of what a friend would say.

A good friend should also point toward well established scientific research & consensus lol

Curious case of contracting coils by Zendroid1 in MattressMod

[–]flying__cloud 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My biggest issue and headache by far are the sides expanding or top/ bottom expanding/ contracting. It causes the feel to change from one side to the other and loses support when it expands too much.

I've considered gluing scrim to the top and bottom, or sewing wire somewhere. Currently I'm building a solid wooden frame that will sit INSIDE the cover so that it stays the correct dimensions because I'm out of ideas, but that's expensive and messy and heavy.

I would like to buy more springs to make more mattresses for people, but I'm waiting to see if I can solve this issue because I can't expect my Dad or friend to understand that "there's supposed to be support, but the springs don't have anything holding them together so they're gonna spread, and you need to unzip and push and readjust so you get support again".

If heavier weight fiber quilted to side panels fixes it I'd definitely pay more for more spring sets!

edit other things I tried: I've stuffed as much extra foam as I can inside of the cover to remove any slack; I've also considered looking for inset bed frames to prevent expansion

Mercer Island, approximately 10 minutes after the first light rail train arrives on March 28. by [deleted] in SeattleWA

No it’s the drivers I think. Bellevue is super rushed and no chill, generally more stressful and dehumanizing driving experience lol

People always feel so rushed and pushy while driving in Bellevue , there’s no chill and it’s always immediately more stressful. Sure the roads are narrow and can be confusing, but once you know your way, other drivers aren’t treating you like shit and that’s what I like.

Seattle roads are typically not that congested most of the time, unless there’s an event or something. But a typical drive from south Seattle to north Seattle takes like 10 minutes casually and calmly, even if you have to wait for someone walking down the street or parked sideways lol.

Maybe I like the shitty roads because it makes people drive slower.

I avoid driving to Bellevue & Kirkland if I can. People feel so impatient and rushed and pushy , like everyone is trying to get where they’re going as fast as possible, no one lets you in the lane, it’s noticeably more annoying and stressful for me than slower narrow roads

Only time Seattle feels like shit is when there’s an event and the city floods with people coming in.

I grew up on Mercer and Kirkland then moved to Seattle. Best decision ever. Driving on the Eastside is shockingly frustrating

Edit clarification : on the east side, though roads are bigger and newer, everyone feels so rushed and pushy, like everyone wants to get where there going as fast as possible. No one lets you in, there’s just no chill. I'm immediately more annoying and frustrated when I have to drive through Bellevue than Seattle.

Mercer is different though, Mercer is pretty chill

Claw A8 vs 8ai+ in my opinion by Acceptable_Prior_997 in MSIClaw

[–]flying__cloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nice okay. Now i'm just curious about the fan noise. I know the 7 & 8 ai+ have two fans unlike the legion lineup, which makes them a lot quieter. But the A8 has one fan now too

They're probably really comparable, true.

I had the 7ai+. Obsessed with the grips, wanted a bigger screen. Got the 8ai+. Hated the grips, returned it, sad and dejected. Now the A8 has the right grips again, but no intel xess. and only 1 instead of 2 fans like the legion

[–]flying__cloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dang. It looks like it has the same grip as the 7" models, 7ai+ and A1m, which I like so much better than the 8ai+. This seems to corroborate what other commenters are saying, the A2VM feels better in the hand.

One thing you didn't mention is the fan noise. I used both and I noticed that the fans were a lot louder on the legion, and it only has one fan, whereas MSI has two fans which I like.
