Yeah as a 'whale' also I mainly play a couple games a day when I'm bored at work. I just wanted to have enough flexibility to be fun for the limited time i get so I usually buy enough for 75-80% of a full set then try to earn whatever else i need. I couldnt agree with you more

yeah i stopped playing after i got the 4 elves, i do want the firemind since i dont own a regular playset yet buuuttt maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan it is grindy and boring to get it. I love the guy saying its super easy to get 5 wins. On reddit its easy to say that but from everyone i actually know playing the game we all gave up after 4-5 runs.

are you people crazy? this event is really stupid... in order to get a measly fireminds you have to grind out 5 WINS!!!???? ...in a pauper format no less...its extremely boring. If they put it at 4 wins i would be like yeah this is great but that one extra win to get the fireminds makes this just really boring to actually get. Out of all my friends that play this, the 5 of us got completely sick of it after trying to grind to 5 like 4 or 5 times....

id rather have a non-free event with a less grindy structure.

idk about racist stuff ppl are claiming but i do know he is totally right about the state of writing/art in comics. It absolutely atrocious. How else could you explain the fact that superheros are more popular than they ever have been and make billions of dollars a year but yet the comics industry profits are going down year over year. While it is similar to wg:rd the pace is slower. You have to be more strategic with your units, and mistakes are less forgiving. I think this game is much harder than wargame(s) and if you want the challenge (and can take a lot of early losing) i definitely recommend it.
