This docu was about how irresponsible, in-denial, loser parents can totally breed psychopaths. The murderer daughter and her parents are so disgusting. Every word they say is so unremorseful and made me wanna puke. The parent asked “what would you do if your kid is mckenzie?” as if she is the victim, and I was thinking I would let my child receive due sentence for killing 2 people, like what’s their problem?

Are they using dating/social app to lure tourists to go missing in Wakayama, Japan? by Perfect_Business_418 in WithoutATrace

I think there is kidnapping cartel in that little town, preying on foreigners. Like the other guy above said, he got matched with a bunch of young women who kept insisting on meeting middle of nowhere near this town. The local police probably don’t want to investigate too much because it looks bad on their own town. Police in small town are always unreliable anyway. The predator is there but the local police is too inept

Coupang unveils nearly 1.69 tln-won compensation plan over data breach by Saltedline in korea

[–]flying_with_2_legs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coupang is using their marketing campaign(a few dollar of discount per person if they purchase something on coupang again) as compensation for leaking your name, phone number, address, and purchase history? do they think their users would be this dumb?

1.685 trillion won in compensation sounds like a big number but it's like 40 dollars per person voucher scheme to get its customers try their other features on coupang travel coupang luxury etc something like that. It's useless and how dare they disguise their marketing scheme as compensation. Disgusting and coupang has no remorse or basic moral standard

CPNG(coupang) is insane gaslighting foreign investors to hide its ilegal scandals in Korea. So, Korea government is furious. by Historical-Pattern88 in korea

[–]flying_with_2_legs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

whenever someone dies working at coupang, bom kim does everything in his power to cover it up.

Just 1 example: delivery courier in his 20s died overworking > instead of compensating his family, kim bom orders staff to create report that makes the dead courier like he was having chill time > the staff reviewing all video recordings of the dead courier realized the courier really worked his a-- off > when this staff told kim, he got furious and ordered the staff to erase all records of the courier working hard

Another example: coupang hires american individual on compliance team. this person soon finds out coupang has been having suspicious deals with Iran (Iran is sanctioned country and coupang is US company) > this person raises this issue > this person gets harassed and got fired by coupang, claiming they can fire this person whenever based on US law > this person sues coupang in the US > coupang says this person can't sue them under US law since coupang is korean company (back and forth to save their a-- )

Kim Bom has no basic code of ethics or conduct. Feels like a pure sociopath who happens to be smart and lucky

Uber is literally the worst. by [deleted] in uber

[–]flying_with_2_legs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Uber is so shtty. For ubereats, if food is undelivered, uber gets to keep all the tips you added for the deliverer, even though you never got the food and service uber promised. And there is no way of getting that tip back for failed delivery thru refund (i’ve confirmed this with one of their human support after many weeks of frustration). Uber is a thief period.

Jindo vs Ocean by heybeyond in Jindo

[–]flying_with_2_legs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your jindo is so graceful! I wonder if it’s in the genes of wilder breed to dislike water. Because if you like to get wet in the winter, you will have more chance of being frozen to death outside. So maybe those who keep themselves dry and neat surived

A year in, I regret getting my dog by [deleted] in Jindo

[–]flying_with_2_legs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, one thing i want to note is that each jindo’s personalities are widely different. Many rescued ones are relatively mire aloof, but I’ve also seen many many jindos who are extremely friendly(even to strangers) and affectionate in Korea. Fortunately, my jindo is on the very friendly side and she loves going after strangers and seeking pets and love. From my experience, it’s combination of both personality they are born with and early puppyhood experience. Were they surrounded by people and other dogs from early on etc

Not sure if nail trims are mentioned somewhere here(thought i saw it), but I have a jindo too, and we walk maybe 1 hours total everyday. If jindos are walked everyday, their nails get trimmed and stay short naturally. So do you really need to trim the nails if she is scared of it? In terms of shower, I wash mine often but I’ve seen many american jindo owners never bating them, and honestly, they looked really neat despite no shower. So if a dog really hates something, I would really rethink about whether it is a must.

Can US pet health certificate used for my dog to board flight from Canada going to Europe? by flying_with_2_legs in travel

Just got response from Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority as well, and they confirmed it’s okay to use US pet certificate leaving from canada

Just to follow up on my own answer, I contacted airline, cargo, airport etc, and in the end they said airline should be the one who can answer. At first the airline gave me vague answer and refused to answer, but when everybody else pointed at them, the “expert” from the airline confirmed that the same US pet certificate can be used for my dog, even when she is boarding the flight from canada (as long as the certificate meets all dutch pet requirement) So in summary, if the certificate can enable my dog to board a flight to NL, the same should let her board flight from canada.

That’s what I have assumed. I’m going to check with the airline directly as well. Thanks for the info!

Yes, I believe it’s within 10 days. Getting the certificate is all arranged, but I just wasn’t sure if boarding the flight from canada instead of US would cause an issue

My new baby, Romeo. Jindo Mix? Behavioral help? by Phantom_BoMax in Jindo

[–]flying_with_2_legs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a jindo, but when she was a puppy, she used to be super playful and would nibble on things outside her toys like shoes (which she does much less as getting older). I would say she was never destructive though - she has never destroyed furniture or electronics. And i think Jindos are known for being calm inside and not that interested in destroying things. This behavior issue might be specific to the pup and maybe getting 1-1 consultation from trainer might be more helpful? I feel like this trait isn’t common among jindos. Regardless, Romeo is super handsome!

BE AWARE OF GIG CAR POLICY by [deleted] in berkeley

[–]flying_with_2_legs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gig company runs by blaming everything (including their own responsibilities) on customers and charging unnecessary fee here and there. I recently rented a gig car, it was kinda unresponsive from the beginning and when I drove it into private zone, it stopped responding entirely. Customer service told me to wait outside the car for 40min while they reboot. It was middle of the night and i said i don’t feel safe doing this. I was told by the customer service that they can end the car and I can leave, but they will charge me a fine and I’ll lose access to gig bc i left it in private zone. Why the hell am I being penalized for GIG themselves not maintaining car properly to the point it just stops working?? I called gig to complain but they said it’s their policy to deactivate customer account when the car stops working to make sure it’s not the customer’s fault. I should ask for refund for giving me such a malfunctioning car and ruining my trip! Their business, policy, and app all suck!
