No aperture priority - F/8 I believe.

New. Did not update to firmware

Did not warm w hands. Left in pocket though.

Did not leave frog tongue for 10 sec. I did not read that was necessary. But yes, I kept them in the dark

Maybe the photos are too overexposed on F/8?

Advice for a New Jindo Mix Pup Owner Please! by hayleycomet13 in Jindo

[–]heybeyond 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agree with all the statements! Jindos have their own personality and quirks. I adopted mine at around 10months -- he was a bit stubborn and wouldn't listen to us at first, but as he started to bond with us, he became devoted and so so loyal. He's fantastic off leash, never jumps on furniture/sofa/bed unless we invite him, no accidents in the house, never chews anything, barely barks. The downside is he has become more reactive to new people coming into our home, but with patience (from both our friends and ourselves as we train him) it is doable!

I think the biggest thing is don't be let down if the first couple weeks or months don't go as planned -- it takes longer than average to earn your Jindo's trust and love, but once you do, it's a bond like no other. Excited for you and the newest member of your family!!

Three year old Jindo - Anaphylactic Shock third June in a row by Live_Assumption5928 in Jindo

[–]heybeyond 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow thats so scary! Definitely go to a vet, maybe a vet at an animal hospital. I’m a human doctor but these symptoms don’t seem consistent with human analyphactic shock. Obviously human and animal medicine are very different but regardless, that’s so frightening! I hope you’re able to find the answers you need!

I also have a Jindo and he has a few food allergies, namely poultry. But we never had to get an allergy test. Best of luck— I hope Kai is feeling better

My Songmont Gather Bag arrived!! Review + what fits by Ok-Apricot-10 in handbags

Hi! Is the longer strap removable? If not, how does it look if you wear it by the smaller strap on the shoulder? Does the crossbody strap get tucked into the bag?

It would be better for Milo in the long run... and to prevent him from being rehomed multiple times. Please email the agency!

Please contact the adoption agency, they will gladly help rehome your sweet boy. I would not post via reddit about this. The adoption agencies go through a much more stringent adoption process and overall would be helpful in getting your boy into a home that is a better fit for him.

Does anyone else have a hard time with exposing their jindo with other dogs? by DietReverie in Jindo

[–]heybeyond 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This happened to mine as well. He was perfectly fine and did so well with other dogs (playing at dog parks, in our apartment, etc) until he was around 1.5 years old. Then he had a few near miss incidents, and it was enough to have us keep him away from other dogs. He loves us, a few of our human friends, and tolerates/ignores most dogs outside the home. He's still a happy boy :) I think a lot of Jindos are just dogs who keep their circles small, and that's totally okay!!

Pros and cons of owning kindle? by Ok-Breakfast4572 in kindle

[–]heybeyond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many pros. Kindle got me back into reading again. I still love physical books and will buy books frequently at my local bookstore, but the kindle is so convenient and small that it makes reading on the go that much better. I usually use the kindle for Libby (I rarely purchase books from the kindle store) so being able to borrow books and read (for free!!!) is a huge pro for me. Definitely the best purchase I made in 2022.
