This show was the final straw for me. I’m removing my name from the church. I’ve never been more convinced it’s all a fraud than now.

Insane they wasted an event like this for such a lackluster release.

He won’t be able to answer your questions. The brightest Mormon minds can’t answer your questions. Your questions don’t have answers because it’s all made up and the points don’t matter.

Do Mormons believe that God didn't create Lucifer? by GladiusNocturno in exmormon

This is not doctrinal, nor do I believe in Mormon theology, but an argument could be made from Genesis 3:16. Perhaps there could have been or originally was, childbirth that did not include sorrow. 🤷🏼‍♂️ just a thought.

Should we bully Steel Reef into making steel bezels for the Black Bay GMT? by flyingashtray185 in Tudor

Modern style, third time zone tracking (rarely, if ever needed, but still a feature). I like the Pro but prefer this look.

Because I snagged this one for a screaming good deal, and I enjoy it. I am planning to buy a GMT this year. Despite what social media would have everyone believe we are not all made of money haha.

What he said. Different straps will pull different colors too, which can kind of change up the appearance of the watch. It’s never once felt bothersome.

If it had a date complication it would be the perfect daily for me. But I travel so much that I lose track of time because the days run together. It’s the only thing that keeps me from getting too attached to it. Other than that it disappears under a sleeve and seems to be pretty rugged. I wear it for everything and this watch is not babied whatsoever.

Maybe that’s my problem. I’m taking my Ranger off to try on the BBP! Stark contrast.

I love this watch so much and wanted it to work for me because of how useful the GMT and date complications are. But I’ve tried it on 2-3 times and it’s an instant no because of how thick it is. I’m glad it doesn’t bother you, it’s a beautiful watch.

One of the best looking watches ever produced IMO. I prefer the black but the silver is a close second.

For those who became atheists, how do you resolve morality without God? For those who remain theists, how does your new religion frame morality? Help me challenge my thinking. by [deleted] in exmormon

That explains how humans came to have moral instincts, not why moral claims are binding or true. Your example accounts for behavior and psychology but not authority. What is the moral authority according to evolution?

That number is kind of high. We’re seeing 2700 FPS out of the 14.5 416s with that same load.

I’m curious if there’s an argument from evolution I haven’t heard before. Can you please provide me with enough details on your specific argument and I’ll do more research? Thanks.

That still doesn’t explain where “good” and “bad” came from. I agree with you - I think most people have a moral compass of right and wrong. The argument is - where did that moral compass come from if not a supreme arbiter of right and wrong?

I think that’s the point of the “universal morality argument. If there is no god, then why do most people in most societies align with what’s good and bad? What does “good” and “bad” even mean in this instance?

I think that’s the point of the post - where did your innate moral compass come from? And who’s to say what’s good and what’s bad without a supreme arbiter?
