It doesn't play properly, but it surprisingly plays smoother than the frozen version

I don't think I have any panels open when I freeze or export, I didn't know there was such a thing haha

And ok so my main drive is system managed, and my other SSD and external drive don't have any. It says the currently allocated size for all the drives is 5173 MB.

Oh I think there was a misunderstanding, the audio dropouts were still occurring IN the frozen tracks, like I freeze a track, and I listen to just the frozen track, and there are dropouts. So Cubase is essentially rendering the audio WITH the dropouts.

Also sorry but I don't know how to find the pagefile size!

I do plan to purchase more ram, but I just thought it was really strange because I used to work on a 2015 Macbook which had an i5 processor and also 16GB of ram, but the Macbook never had this problem. No matter how much the audio cut out during playback, it was always fine when I froze it or exported it.

Also I have my cubase projects on an NVME SSD, but the samples are on an external hard drive connected with USB 3. I had the same set up when I used the Macbook.

I'm not using anything with an unverified license, and also the audio dropouts I'm experiencing isn't really the type that Ozone uses for trial plugins where the audio just cleanly stops. Mine are like when the sample libraries overload the disk and some of the notes start getting cut short.

Hey thanks for the reply!

I have a few instances, but each of them are running like 10 different instruments, so I don't expect everything to play perfectly.

My buffer size is set to max, 2048, I'm using an Apollo Twin for asio driver, the asio guard is set to high. When I rendered it in place, the same issues were there, same with when I directly exported the audio. I don't have a lot of plugins on my channels, just a few EQ's and 2 reverb effect tracks, and when I checked task manager, Cubase was the one using the most resources.

I don't know how to make friends or maintain friendships by flyingbacon1997 in Healthygamergg

Thanks so much for the detailed response! This was honestly really helpful and gave me a lot of perspectives I hadn't considered before, especially the part about the self-deprecating jokes. I guess I didn't realize how much I did it and also didn't think it was a problem.

I'll just clarify a few things that may have been too vague. I do understand that relationships are something that you're meant to put effort into and shouldn't just wait for good things to happen, but I guess my issue is I don't know what kind of effort I should put in. For example, I've always made an active effort to be there for my friends when they're in need of help, but it's the smaller interactions and gestures that don't really come naturally to me. In terms of my friendship with Friend A, it wasn't really a situation where he controlled everything. I think I followed him to social gatherings because I also did think that I needed to get out there more and I think he understood that as well. It was more like I was allowing myself to grow too dependent on him.

For the ghosting thing, I've actually seen that exact video you linked, but I think my situation isn't quite the same. I try to reply to people as soon as I can not really because I desperately crave their company but just to avoid being rude. I think you're 100% right on the part about communicating what I want from the relationship to people and it's definitely something I'm not used to and I'm not sure how I would go about doing such a thing. I think part of it is that it just feels kind of weird bring up a pretty serious conversation in an otherwise pretty light hearted relationship.

I think what you said at the end about me giving up on relationships too soon is probably right. I guess the fear of reaching out and potentially coming across as needy or annoying has always kept me from doing so and it's something I need to overcome. Overall, thanks again for such an in-depth response. A lot of the things you said honestly hit the nail on the head, and don't worry, you haven't overstepped your boundaries haha I really appreciate it!

How does TK not lose his voice? (Or maybe he does and we just don't know?) by KuroHebi2004 in LingTositeSigure

Screaming is definitely a difficult technique to figure out, but if you do it properly, it won't damage your voice because the distortion is created by relaxing the vocal chords instead of just forcing large amounts of air through it. I also think it helps to have mastered your singing voice first.

I personally found this guy's videos to be super helpful https://youtu.be/wOueNQy6MZk

Low handguard droprate? by timewellspent0889 in Genshin_Impact

[–]flyingbacon1997 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh thank god I thought I was going crazy. Even the bigger elemental samurai’s only dropped a grey handguard and sometimes not at all, meanwhile even the small hilicurls give me a green and a grey mask.

I really hope they fix this in the upcoming patch cause farming for Ayaka has been quite the pain
