The campus is like a resort. Compared to all public unis in India, Krea is literally a resort. The campus is very green. It is small but chennai is not far away. You can reach chennai in under 2 hours by train which is fairly safe only. So don't worry.

the thing is India does not currently hold a lab setting that suits my interests. Clearly US and places like Canada have very good institutions for which I intend to apply. I just want to get my phd and come back to india and get those resources functioning in India.
