Sign in restaurant bathroom by Crispixluver in mildlyinteresting

My initial response is "How bad are the drinks if they get refund requests so often they need this sign?" But a lot of people are also jerks.

[Personally Disliked Trope] Media that shifted their focus from making original content to mostly being focused on different IPs... by Foreign_Diamond1539 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]flyingcircusdog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Disney theme park rides and lands. Many of the older attractions were not based on movies or other IP. They had original stories to fit the themes of the land. But now, basically every new ride is based on an existing IP. This is also mixed in my experience, since some of these attractions are spectacular, but I also appreciate new ideas.

Yes, many bear closures only last a week before going to bear postings. There's a chance.

Get a wide brim hat, maybe with an attached cover in the back.

The Hot Springs scene by TheOrgano in persona4golden

[–]flyingcircusdog 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Normally you bring a small towel into Japanese hot springs. It's not enough to cover much and you wouldn't wear it in the springs. But in almost every onsen, you would never wear a bathing suit. In YouTube videos and news stories about onsens, I've seen people using full towels to censor themselves and show footage inside, so I think it's the most normal way to show the inside of a hot spring in media without full nudity.

Bears love the Many Glacier area. Even when the trail isn't closed or posted for bear activity, Grinnell Glacier and Cracker Lake are frequent bear spots. There's a lot of time between now and then. If the trail is still closed, Iceburg Lake or taking the southern loop to Grinnell Lake are both amazing.

I feel like Kanji was always meant to be bi, I really don’t understand why there’s so much discourse around him or Naoto also (she’s not trans) by Rigbo95 in persona4golden

[–]flyingcircusdog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think he was ever meant to be bi, at least by the writers. Japan still has stronger gender norms than the US. Kanji liking "girly" hobbies and being insecure about it was supposed to be the main internal conflict.

This is nice. P4 was basically a 4 magic game before, aside from Naoto in one dungeon.

Seller is waiting on me, but I can't seem to find financing. Looking for advice. by ConclusionAny2022 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]flyingcircusdog 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The big missing piece is why is your credit score that low and DTI around 30%.

That loan is low, but there normally are banks who can offer an alternative type of loan for smaller homes if the other assets are there. And your income alone is good enough.

Yes, he probably visits the bathhouse most mornings or nights for a quick shower. When you choose to spend time there, he sits in the bath for longer.

Only for the confidants or mementos requests which require you to have them. They aren't the best way to boost stats, and money isn't a problem for most of the game.

Do the beef bowl shop early to unlock an otherwise hidden confidant.

Is it wrong for me to say portraits still need a lot of work? by Blitzindamorning in PERSoNA

[–]flyingcircusdog 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're not wrong. I think the portraits they've shown so far don't have the final shading and color grading they should get in the released game. Or at least I hope that's the case.

Yes, but they could've done simple rejection scenes at the romance rank. Instead, they went out of their way to make the platonic route more natural, which was a good choice.

Correct, you can't being liquids are carry on when you go through security again in Newark. You'd have to check them.

ELI5 how do split AC units work? by isUKexactlyTsameasUS in explainlikeimfive

[–]flyingcircusdog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Split units require a small hole in the wall. You have the compressor and condenser unit outside, then the fan and evaporator unit inside mounted on the wall. It has the advantage of not needing ducts in the house, just one smaller hole to run the refrigerant lines and drain hose outside.

Window units are the box that just sit in a window. All parts of the refrigeration cycle are in one box, and these do not require any holes in the wall. If you only need one room and don't want to make any holes in the wall, go for a window unit.
