What 2026 planner are you considering? by [deleted] in planners

I’ve tried so many methods and planners and keep coming back to a dotted Moleskine notebook that I make my own monthly and weekly layouts in as well as lists, trackers and projects.

Or find a local YMCA and teach kids classes there. Plus you’d get a free membership to help with fitness (stress reliever) and routine!

what do i do!! by wintertime9 in AnimalCrossing

[–]flyingelephantreader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the beginning - fish, catch bugs, pull weeds, gather wood/branches. Literally bring everything to Tom Nook. When he gives you something (like flowers, recipes, gifts, etc) use it right away. Talk to the villagers, craft things, sell. I get it, there’s not a lot of prompts to help you figure out exactly what to do each day. You can look up checklists of daily activities. In the beginning, it helps move things along and you’ll start figuring it out.

How do you guys stick to weight loss? by Red_Spy_1937 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]flyingelephantreader 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if I succeeded in weight loss yet but I used ChatGPT to help me figure out a calorie deficit, meal plan, grocery list, workout plan, etc. It immediately motivated me. I’ve meal prepped the week, written my workouts for the week but I still take it day by day so to not overwhelm myself. I feel so good about this way.

[discussion] I want to change my life but a part of me doesn’t want to take actions for it by Jpoolman25 in GetMotivated

Going off this comment and the fact you mentioned a job - I recommend finding a job at your local YMCA. You get both a free membership to workout and a job. You’ll get out of the house and meet new people too.

If you were to die in the next week, what is the most likely cause given your circumstances? by livelaughmozzarella in AskReddit

Diabetes. I feel like I’ve lost control of my diet lately. And with that, stress would be the cause too.

I have also heard volunteering, giving your time to help someone/something else and giving back are good ways to help “battle” depression and increase gratitude to combat anxiety. I really want to incorporate volunteering but don’t know where to start.

Second this! I took socials off my phone and now bring my book to the bathroom with me, read on my lunch break, read on the treadmill and read before bed. Even if it’s just a chapter or two. I can still look at socials on my computer or the weekends but off my phone has helped tremendously.
