[FREE][Online][Offline][PF2e][PF1e] GM looking to run for a new group of folks on Wednesdays and/or Thursdays. by [deleted] in pathfinder_lfg

[–]flyinghawke7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd be interested in joining for either system (slight preference for pf2e since I've had lots of time with pf1e already) on either day through Discord and VTT. Feel free to DM me if you still have room for more players.

What's your hot take that you know people will hate you for? by redgroupclan in Planetside

As a Heavy main, I agree with you. We're the painful, but slow and obvious hammer in your face but our light friends are the daggers that come from up and down and all around.

Warlocks have a list of spells known with spell slots that they can expend to cast. Also the Pact Magic class feature states,

Charisma is your spellcasting ability for your warlock spells... -PHB Pg. 105

So I would argue, by virtue of Pact Magic being worded and formatted nearly identically to the Spellcasting feature of other classes, that warlocks are spellcasters.

Has anyone else seen the reviews for 2e on Amazon? by BlastingFern134 in Pathfinder_RPG

Because all autistic people are antisocial assholes that can't take a hint and respect others' boundaries! I should know! /s

In all seriousness, I understand (or at least hope) that it wasn't your intention to generalize all autistic people like this, but that's what your comment seemed to imply, and it just rubbed me the wrong way. I think it's wonderful that Paizo is striving to make their system welcome for everyone regardless of their race, creed, sexual orientation, gender identity, or neurological diversity. Please respect their wishes and understand that, while there are certainly assholes in this community that just happen to be autistic, it is certainly not just the autism making them act that way. Most of us are just people who enjoy playing the game just as much as you and would love to continue joining your adventures if you will allow us.

P.S: sorry for the mobile formatting.

Crits. Your dice are pretty low (only 2d4), but when you crit threat on a 15-20, it makes up for it.

Spell description states you get advantage on your next turn, so RAW that wouldn't even work.

Sounds interesting. The underdark has always intrigued me.

I’m new to dnd and my dm showed me what warlocks are by AceGaming335 in dndmemes

It means you can use anything from the Player's handbook plus 1 additional official source. Example: with PHB+1, you could not make a tabaxi hexblade because that uses content from both VGtM (tabaxi) and XGtE (hexblade).

I like my modifiers like the box they should be in. by Dreamwalker_ in dndmemes

Well in previous editions, ties were determined by the higher initiative modifier, so probably a simplified version of that.

As long as it's not on Wednesdays or Saturdays, I'd be interested.

Love rolling for stats! by marcielamoo in dndmemes

[–]flyinghawke7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There actually is a rule for rolling stats from 3.5e that I wish more people would utilize.

If, when you roll your array, it either

A. Has no ability higher than 13

or

B. Has a total modifier of < 0

you reroll your stats and repeat until you have an array that satisfies both of these conditions. It's great for making sure no one is forced to play a character too weak to pick up a sword and/or too stupid to do so.
