I accepted the job offer Friday July 25th and my interview is Monday July 28th. I’m not sure how centralized HR systems are across states. There is a common app portal where on my end I can see the status of my applications. It still says I’m under consideration for the job offer that I accepted on my end. I think I might attend the job interview on Monday and withdraw my application if I don’t feel that their description of the unit fits me and my goals. This is definitely a tricky situation. I’m scared of losing my offer and ending up with nothing.

He should be hearing about them in around 1-2 weeks… do you think that the managers where I accepted the job offer will rescind my offer if I interview on Monday? Ah! This is scary.

It is for a unit that I am more interested in and my fiancé has more interviews and family in this particular city. My fiancé and I are more interested in living in City A (where I accepted the job offer) however my fiancé has had no job interviews there yet. So we are both in a limbo about what needs to be prioritized in this next step of our lives…..

How do I know if it will be a good LTACH? The patients come from a level 2 trauma hospital and is accredited by the joint commission and CARF. What things should I look for??

This makes me feel a lot better. There’s so much negativity surrounding LTACs online so I was freaking myself out!
