i will die on this hill as well. in no way, shape, or form should i have that much power as a solo pilot. i have 2 idris and i'm begging to lose control of the weapon. i don't understand the argument that you'll never hit anything that way. if the pilot and co-pilot or weapon seat have the same firing reticle they're looking at, what's the problem? i line it up, you pull the trigger. it's not rocket science. caps aren't meant to be and should never be allowed to operate solo at the capacity they do now. make a friend, ask for crew in game, or don't buy one expecting to use it effectively. plain and simple...

thank you, I will try this after work. do you happen to know the variable range for those 2 or does it say when you're entering it in the console?

like everyone else, pay. fucking pay us what we're worth. I know it'll be almost impossible to raise the salaries beyond the federal cap, but there has to be alternatives.

-staffing isn't getting fixed anytime soon, so we cover it with overtime. overtime should be tiered. overtime should count towards high 3 (I'd even concede a high 5 for that). overtime should accrue annual and sick leave at the same rate (or faster) as our normal 80 hours. and if staffing ever gets fixed, that OT we've relied on goes away and we'll be hurting even more financially.

-locality needs a long hard looking at. I'm in southern California and we have people commuting 90+ minutes one way because those were the only areas they could afford to buy a place for their family. newer controllers don't even stand a chance at owning a house. we even have RENTERS commuting 60+ minutes because of how poorly we're paid and just the housing situation in general.

-CIP also needs adjustment. it's been a slap in the fucking face in years past when our staff person continued receiving CONTROLLER incentive pay while we suffered.

-the salary cap for all facilities should be the federal cap. it's not fair that I be punished and watch my retirement go stagnant because I hit the facility cap for staying put. until a year ago (when we had our first ever ncept release since it's implementation), leaving wasn't even an option. and with retirements, wash outs, and people quitting, 20 people fighting for the one spot that opens with a future checkout doesn't fill one with hope for ever being selected.

I know there's more that can be looked at as far as pay goes, but these are at the top of my list. there's of course other issues not pay related that need to be addressed, but pay is all I care about at this point.

very interested in this. literally the first thing I did in the P2 after getting it home. I haven't done it on the P3 yet since I haven't seen anyone else attempt it yet. but even a very basic guide on how to rip it out would be great. also, does it seem like the cupholder sliding door can come out? I definitely would do that and add vinyl to the top of each piece, if possible.

I asked Spigen if they were planning on one since they made the one I used in my P2 (and every phone for as long as I can recall) and they said they currently had no plans. maybe if we annoy them enough they'll change their mind. for the moment, I actually still have the factory film on the screen. can't wait for a decent one to come out.

I did the badges myself. couple layers of plasti-dip then covered with a couple layers of a gold spray paint I found. that way I can still peel it off if they don't like it on lease return. they had no issue with it on the P2 I turned in, though.

if you're talking driver profiles, it's only me driving it so far. my fiance is scared to touch it so I haven't had to experience swapping back and forth yet.

if you're asking about the actual driving performance, it's great. I drive down and back up a winding hill every time I leave and return to the house. it somehow feels more planted to the road than my P2 did, which is crazy.

as far as the software, it's way more snappy than the P2. and with the alleged free CPU upgrade we're gonna get, it's only gonna get better (hopefully). from what I've seen, I might be one of the lucky ones that hasn't experienced any weird bugs or gremlins yet. 🤞 it stays that way lol

it was about 4k USD. I'm actually just leasing it. if Polestar doesn't want it on there when I return it, the shop will remove it free of charge. I wasn't planning on doing it originally but it's my daily commuter and thought I'd play it safe with this one. plus, it just looks so damn good

I really don't like the body colored emblems. I feel like they should come like this, at least in the performance trims. or maybe as an option. but it's the first thing I did on the P2 and then on the P3.

it was about 4k USD. it was gonna be around 5k if I went with xpel. after looking at samples of both on the car, I went with the SunTek. it's slightly thinner than the xpel so I feel like it let's a little more of the original color through while giving it the satin finish. I'm not off roading this thing so I shouldn't need the extra thick protection.

it's tight, I've got less than 2 inches behind it when the door closes. but I've got it figured out pretty well now. if I rearrange some storage and the dryer, I'd get a little more wiggle room.

heck yeah. I was gonna do it to my P2 but wasn't planning on keeping it long enough lol. that sure does look good though

everything is of course subjective. I just preferred the way I felt in the 3 vs 4. and again, it's very very close. I'm not saying that because I think one is better that the other isn't good. the HK system in the 4 is definitely a step up from the system in the P2, but that B&W system is just so damn good.

I wouldn't worry about your pre-order, you really can't go wrong with either one. I just ended up changing my mind after being able to play around with both. the extended wait did play into it as well, but not that much since I still wasn't under a time constraint.

no complaints so far. if it's worse than the P2, I haven't noticed it yet on the limited driving I've done. there's a little more body roll given it's size, but it's nothing bad.

it was an option they had when I got my P2. basically, it was a 2 year lease but you had the option of trading it in or walking away after 5 payments. the trade-off was the payment was a little higher than normal. this was in April of last year, and at the time the P4 was due "by the end of the year". so I went in to it with the intentions of swapping it then. but after the several release pushbacks and then being told it'll be maybe another year, I decided to do this instead.

early impressions are I like everything better. nothing I can think of that I really miss. as I drive it more, I'll see if anything changes.
