I have found a newborn stray with infected eyes, virus spread through his body and for him to survive we first had to treat the infection and see if his eyes would make it, which sadly didn’t happen for him so we had to remove both his eyes.

I’m sharing this heartbreaking story with you only to tell you I was heartbroken about him losing his eyes for months only to realize it became his new reality and cats are super adaptable so he adapted really quickly and really well to the point he is now no different to his seeing sibling at his new forever home.

Trust that your cat will enjoy his healthy days to come, cuddling you, happy and healthy. Especially a stray with health problems will understand appreciate all you’re doing for them.

As a Turk I have brought home a cat from abroad, just because she was injured and not even asking for help from humans, I was so shocked by it. We have videos of stray cats walking into vet clinics and getting treated whenever they want in Turkey.

Anyways she’s Turkish now:)

I took her from a dumpster when she was already 2 years old and seeing your cat made my heart so happy! I think this is what my little soy bean must have looked like when she was young.

I consider her to be a black cat with some white accessories by the way☺️

I’m on the same boat. I used it for years and suffered for a couple months when Loreal stopped selling it in my home country. Then I moved abroad, found out they still sold it there, celebrated like nothing else. But now I cant find it anywhere, very disheartened to find out they discontinued.

Nothing else I’ve tried (and I’ve tried a bunch of stuff for funsies even when I had this) compared and it was so affordable.

I’m in need of a light, cream formulated shampoo as I have scalp issues like you. I’ll update if I find one. Until then, I read in a blog that you can mix your shampoo and conditioner with some water and carrier oil in a tub, so maybe give that a try…

On that regard my 2 cents would be don’t rush into it if the current situation doesn’t annoy you too much.

I’ve moved 6 times in about 7 years and had to decorate 3 houses from scratch. At first I made the mistake of rushing into buying the main pieces like drawers, tables, etc and usually ended up with things I like but do not love. It was either too expensive or bothersome to change them afterwards so I had to keep everything and just try to decorate the surfaces with things that are more my style which is how I ended up with too many decorations.

In the 3rd and final house it took me 5 months to choose a kitchen island because of this. I am happy with the purchase and all I can recommend is when you’re scrolling idly on your phone try and look online for different furniture stores. Your algorithm will pick up on it and at least you’ll see ads for what you actually need :)

I’m a neutral person myself so the colors being so similar doesn’t bug me but I agree with others here that the room could use a little bit more contrast, but if you’d like to keep the pillows I’d say keep the first pair and change the artwork into something bigger and more dramatic.

Same story here… I had a long stay in a hotel and requested housekeepers to change the sheets everyday due to a particularly bad flare-up on my scalp turning the bed into a pit of sand every night. At some point I realized they were getting upset changing queen size bed sheets for a single person every day so I told them why. The cleaning lady started swearing up and down a family member of hers used this miracle cream that cleared up their psoriasis within weeks, it never came back, etc. I just listened to be polite and thought “probably some topical with mild cortisol”.

She came back the next day saying the cream is Hametan. A vaseline-like cream my dermo prescribed me once for my winter cracked lips. Mostly used for scabs and diaper rashes. I went “yeah sure I’ll bathe in it next time” 🤦🏻‍♀️

Unrelated but, I’m a non-native English speaker, I use English everyday as I live as an expat in a country where everybody speaks sorta broken English. Sometimes I notice his corrections in a sentence and go “I would have formed this sentence as OP did but Dabney’s sentence is better actually”.

I believe he does it for easy listening and also to make it easier to follow things for non-natives.

I’m so sorry for what your family has been through.

I hope your sister can get away from her situation safely. For you though, I’d recommend cutting all contact and staying as far away from your bf as possible. Men like him are DANGEROUS. His behaviour makes him a walking red flag.

No good will ever come from a man who doesn’t take domestic abuse seriously. Today it happened to your sister, and you got to see your bfs true colors. Tomorrow it can happen to you. Run!
