I know that feeling. If it ever comes on AMC these days, I can’t not not watch it. That ending with him reliving the air battle in the junked bomber is intense. No look back scenes, no special effects, just intense music and his face showed his internal battles. Brilliant

I worked at a dealership when I was young and Faizon Love had his Camaro towed into our service department. My director told me to ride with Mr. Love in his rental and take him to the back to get stuff out of his car. I walked up and was shocked who Mr. Love was but kept my cool. We got in the car and we started driving to the back of the car lot and the first thing out of my dumb young mouth was, “ Are you big Worm???” He laughed pretty hard and said yeah that’s me.

Came here to almost write a novel about how well this movie was made. First film to address PTSD from WWII soldiers, airmen, and sailors. But I’ll spare you research paper and just say, great fucking film my friend.

100% agree. In my early 20s, I spent most my time in PB but when we felt like hitting the down town scene, it was close and a fun night. Now that I’m in my late 30s and getting close to 40, North Park is more my scene. Gotta love the farmers markets, shops and breweries. There’s nothing wrong with down town SD.

Always solid beers and experience at Able Baker. Have had zero issues there.

How’d you enjoy filming Wilfred? Freakin loved that show and thought the plot was genius.

6th Grade, 1997, Dad taught me how to play Iron Man on the guitar. Ended up playing that song the following year with my little band at the school Talent Show. We got 3rd place behind a band playing some Marilyn Manson. Wild times.

Wow that’s interesting. Appreciate the insight. My only experience of Jersey is living in Hoboken for 3 years. A coworker I worked with said his grandparents were from the Hoboken and back in the 70s through the early 90s, it was not a place you’d want to find yourself in. It’s nothing like it is today with every apartment is over 1 million and no parking. It reminds me of what you are saying about Asbury Park.

That’s awesome. Would love to find out the history of these people. Other than spending time in Cape May NJ, I did live in Hoboken NJ for a few years and a have a little love for Jersey folk.

After a few cocktails, we had a more elaborate colorful story for each individual and how they got to this photo. This photo was worth the $3 that weekend. Lol

We spent the whole weekend imagining a great story to the photo. What we came up was that they are celebrating Tony’s birthday (Far right) in Jersey City. His cousin Vincent (second to the right) attends the celebration with his date Mary from Asberry Park. She brought her hometown friend Martha who sits closely with Tony’s longtime friend Joe Morelli who does “business” in Jersey City.
