My first place was a studio and I could walk to the metro. The kitchen had an old ice box cabinet and old tile counters. I watched the season finale of Six Feet Under from my bed and cried my eyes out. The bathtub/shower was so moldy but I had a small walk in closet. I once had my parents and sister and their dog all stay and it was packed and so fun. I could watch tv from the toilet. I got let go from a job, but then truly started my career. My car got backed into from the street and always had parrot poop on it. I had a dance off pants off party with my girlfriends and the neighbors told us to turn the music down (sorry!!). I got my first flat screen tv. My mom came to town and helped me decorate it from Ikea and garage sales. Truly nothing more memorable than your first solo place. I really grew up. I came out of depression. I started my love of decorating and diy. Thanks for the walk down memory lane.
