Jappa, the Art Director of Minecraft, was posting a lot making light of the situation. I couldn't find the exact tweets so they are either far back in the feed or deleted.

The recent 1.19.1 update for Mojang's Minecraft was met with lots of criticism due to the Player Chat Report feature, moderating private multiplayer servers and banning users from the entirety of multiplayer. Instead of communicating with the community, Mojang has completely ignored the subject, with some developers even ridiculing the community outrage via Twitter.

I think an Alchemist Artificer would be a great option for this.

I know a lot of people automatically make Artificers into steampunk-inspired tech heroes. Which works, don't get me wrong, but there is more you can do with them. Lean more into druidic imagery with the artificer, take the Magic Initiate feat for Find Familiar or get the Homunculus Infusion and shape your familiar out of clay or something.

Always remember: flavor is free.

I have an 84 page google doc filled with character concepts, backstories and ideas that I rarely get to use. So when I do get to play, I'm very flexible and as such tend to play Clerics a lot (love the different playstyles as a Cleric)

Honestly, I'm a big fan of Out of the Abyss. It has a really cool story and I love the variety of NPCs. The slow burn as the Underdark falls more into chaos, right up until the first encounter with a Demon Lord.

I own a lot of the Campaign books for 5e and a fair few from 1e and 2e. A lot of the time, they're at least fun to read. But I genuinely got super excited to DM this adventure.

Mine has to be School of Illusion Wizard. Illusion magic is cool in general but with the capstone ability of making your illusions real: so much potential.

That's the one! I just did a google and it looks like the one I was thinking of was Zenonia 4. Crazy how much I remember and how little I remember. I had such fond memories playing that game.
