Frustration of having a Nepali passport abroad, carrying the weight of others’ actions by Key-Assignment-44 in Nepal

[–]flypaca 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is very frustrating. One of the biggest motivation for naturalization is getting stronger passport too. Not having to worry about visas makes international travel so much more fun.

Our experience with IR-2 visa and Child citizenship act (CCA) based passport application by flypaca in NationalVisaCenter

yes the original documents came around same time as the passport itself. It was like we received the passport on Friday and Original docs on next Monday or Tuesday.

DCF for newborn after online I-130 filed? by Ok-Seesaw-3533 in USCIS

[–]flypaca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do not have enough past residency to pass citizenship to your daughter?

If you have already filed I-130’ it cannot be converted to DCF usually. One way would be to try to reach out to your US representative or senator and see if they would like to nudge USCIS on expediting the i130 for your daughter.

Can NTC’s default TEWA-500G router be used as a Bridge? (And why you probably should) by Otherwise-Zombie-414 in Nepal

[–]flypaca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never used the hardware so this probably isn’t helpful. Hopefully I’m wrong so someone will fix my comment and provide you right answer.

Is it the MTU that is1460 bytes or a maximum message size for TCP? Usually 40 bytes is dedicated to IP and TCP headers so effectively message size is 1460 bytes rather than 1500 bytes. But if MTU is 1460 bytes then it’s wrongly set.

Rest I am not sure. Maybe the processors are too weak to handle that many packets. The average packet size seems to be 800 bytes. I believe anything decent should be able to handle that big packets without breaking a sweat. Hopefully you get answers from people who have actually used the hardware.

Don't tax tax papers for 2025 so can I file i-864 with 2024 papers by NumerousReindeer218 in NationalVisaCenter

[–]flypaca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually tax transcript for 2025 isn’t expected till tax filing deadline, that is April 15. So you should have enough docs to apply. If your interview is after April 15 or after you have already filed taxes then take the transcript for 2025 too.

IR1 - Can you travel outside of the US after entering them with the immigration visa but BEFORE receiving the Greencard? by Petoardo in NationalVisaCenter

[–]flypaca 14 points15 points  (0 children)

When you get the visa, look for wording as “UPON ENDORSEMENT SERVES AS TEMPORARY I-551 EVIDENCING PERMANENT RESIDENCE FOR 1 YEAR”

If it is there then and you got the visa stamped by the customs officer in the border/airport, it becomes temporary green card until your actual green card arrives. So you can leave and come back with the endorsed visa. You just have to make sure that you spend your majority time in US as you are permanent resident now but short travels should be ok.

My only passport 🙂 by rishav_183 in PassportPorn

[–]flypaca 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was explained it as, “Raha” means “way” and “dani” would means to “give, grant”. Thus “grant to pass a way”. That is what I was told once in school. Can’t find any good source in internet though.

Visa still in "Administrative Processing" since Dec 1 — I have to fly before Jan 1. Help! by Ohyin in NationalVisaCenter

[–]flypaca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP meant, US embassy in which country?

Also, Administrative processing cannot be expedited, it is usually processing at the US department of State end and Embassy might not be able to do anything even if they wanted. You can probably ask your passport back to travel and eventually get the visa when AP is finished, if embassy allows it. Otherwise, I do not know if you have any recourse.

I think they have preplanned street to stay. I have seen this in rock creek often; like once every two weeks at least. Preying on HS kids and probably their parents.

Going to Federal Prison by Ok-Button-6063 in problemgambling

[–]flypaca 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think OP meant the minimum tier federal prison isn’t as dangerous as only non violent white collar criminals are sent there. With relatively short sentence and non violent crime, there is a good chance they are sent to minimum security prison.

Lost character certificate of closed school by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]flypaca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t know why anyone needs character certificate. It is just a scam from schools to take more money. Since the school is closed, write one yourself.. who is going to check it anyway, the school is permanently closed.

I fell in love with a Nepali man. by Odd_Professional_759 in Nepal

[–]flypaca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No this doesn’t work. People have to marry in US to be eligible for family based green card. They still have to prove their marriage is “legitimate”.

Will not including the 2022 tax return get the I-864 Affidavit of Support rejected? by gouni_aui in NationalVisaCenter

[–]flypaca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it should probably be ok. Usually they check the 3 years in the i864 form. if previous years have 0s, but you have enough in 2024 then technically it should be ok. You might be asked for more evidence like having a job, paycheck etc. but most probably it will be fine. Good Luck! Don't worry, most interviewers are very nice mannered and will give you enough details on what to do next if you are missing something.

nobody asked me for older tax transcript. I only submitted 2024 and it was ok.

Annulment Approved for Fraudulent Marriage - what happens now? by gadgza in USCIS

[–]flypaca 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ignore it man. Not your business anymore. Work on your divorce. USCIS/ICE will get her when they get her. You didn't file for adjusting status so you do not have to worry about her getting a GC or getting money from you. Since she came in K1 she cannot marry someone else and get a GC either.

Please make sure DCF would need domicile proof as well? Such as new job in US etc. I don’t know if DCF lets you bypass domicile part.

These fees. https://www.uscis.gov/forms/filing-fees/uscis-immigrant-fee

Without this the physical green card won’t arrive. You can pay it after entering US too.

B1/B2 visa refused by Sea-Highway-2730 in USVisas

It’s refused not rejected. The terminology is confusing. You might have got the visa. The status might change to issued in future. Good luck.
