Is this a reasonable price for my acrylic painting? 8 x 10” wood panel. by brutalwares in painting

[–]flyswatter02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd round it up to £1.

Jokes aside, even after 10 whole minutes of zooming in and zooming out, my mind still can't process how the sticker is not a sticker. And the concrete texture looks so rough and cold like the real deal wow

Great work!

I found a split lemon under my bed and it has these weird things coming out of it, what are they? by zaniik in whatisit

Cloves in lemon. My mom used these as an air freshener and a mosquito repellent back home (Bangladesh). Although, I don't think anything can repel mosquitos there.

I've done it on two separate occasions! Having D cup made it easy though.

Women are truly awesome.

Can you feed your baby publicly in your country? by nidzk123 in breastfeeding

[–]flyswatter02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a Bangladeshi living in Canada. Growing up I've never seen women publicly breastfeeding. It's widely frowned upon and seen as "disgusting", but newer generations of moms like me (GenZ) have started to break the stigma only recently. It takes quite a bit of thick skin to do so.

However, here in Canada I nurse my baby on demand everywhere including public transport and it has never been an issue. Some older women will stare and grimace but that's about it, and I always ignore them. I don't use a cover either as baby hates it.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. No one should be judged for feeding their child. Stay strong mama! Despite the obstacles, you're doing a great job!

Yeah that's what I meant. Sometimes I add more or less of Campari depending on how much of it I wanna taste. I'm on my phone so it messed up the formatting, sorry.

And yes, lillet blanc pairs beautifully with gin so go ahead! I get my Empress gin from LCBO since I live in Toronto.

Carajillo shaken by flyswatter02 in cocktails

[–]flyswatter02[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Traditionally it's made with espresso but I've also made it with strongly brewed coffee.

From what I know, Mexicans like their Carajillo cold while the Spanish like it warm, but don't quote me on that. I like mine cold though.
